@poppopscarvinshop YW, BTW, We got loved this plane so much, we painted the full scale PA12 to match it. Also got the 60% - 72lb Yak flying just last week!
@DaniyalRehman I have some video of tail touching I'm going to post. We found the right prop that just kicks ass on this combo! Now working on 60% yak in addition to our "full scale pa-12" project.
@IGO4MAKO1 on floats about 12K US $, yes full 18", we just got done with a full scale PA12 Cub that was puke green and made look just like this plane. I should make a before and after video to post.
Loved the landing and takeoff, man that thing can almost hover with a slight steady wind I bet!!! LOL at the ending!!! couldn't get it to turn on the ice, then "UH oh" at the end and it cuts... LOLLOL
Yea, first flight didn't want to give to much power to blow air across the rudder not knowing how it would react and the tail wheel had no traction so we just killed the engine.
I apologize for not posting more vids. Been a busy summer since both of us have decided to become real pilots; this is more fun! We have a fun fly coming up on Sept 11-12 and I will get some nice Vid of this plane hovering about 10 ft off the deck, then the climbout is nuts! There also has been a 50% ultimate biplane added to the fleet, and also a few 50cc'ers! That Ultimate flys like a giant foamy, and has same engine as Cub, ZDZ-210. Still waiting on funds to complete the 40%.
actually wind was light on take off. The engie puts out over 200lbs of thrust. Its really hard to hold it back when warming it up. It will hover at 1/2 throttle. So answer is, raw power and that was like a 1/2 throttle take off.
WOW! it took off in like 5 feet! i cant believe how it just floated down like that when u went to land it! (but it needs HUGE tundra tires!) haha! very nice!
This my buddies plane. With the floats, wingbags (for storing wings), and mufflers it was 10K. I think it was more by my buddy refuses to admit he spent that much :)
yea, kinda extreme. The biggest plane I own is a 50cc RC Guys Pitts and 1/4 scale cub. The 50% in the video has already had some damage to it and just something as simple as breaking the landing gear and prop is a 400.00 set back. :)
6' ground run and it was airborne ! This aircraft has a very, very low stall speed - do you know the wing loading or the wing area & AUW ?? What make of 210cc engine ? Superb model !
That was the maiden. It can actually roll for less then 2' and go vertical. Its fully 3d capable and hovers with no problem. Model weighs about 65lbs, its full size 50% which is 18ft wingspan.
Hi Jamesfromnyc I'm James from Atl. Beautiful Aircraft Sir! Congratulations and Thanks for Showing Her To Us!

Is that the 18 foot full wing? Could you tell me the final price? Delivery, servos, motor, etc. I would imagine about $5G
IGO4MAKO1 1 year ago
@IGO4MAKO1
Its a full 18 foot wing, Engine zdz210, Hitec servos, about 10k final assembly with exhaust canisters and floats.

@Jamesfromnyc I'd love to see it. I didn't know the cost was that much.
igo4mako 10 months ago
@igo4mako Well cost is big, but so is fun! If you got it, spend it! That;s our motto. You only live this life one time buddy!
Jamesfromnyc 9 months ago
@Jamesfromnyc I don't disagree, problem is, I spent it already!

Man there are so many, I get confused? The 40% Yak is done. Its the big Yak, 60% that is waiting on funds...
Jamesfromnyc 1 year ago
@Jamesfromnyc
The 60%er is getting the ZDZ420!, that should be a blast! That almost as big as the engine on my Honda CX500!
Jamesfromnyc 1 year ago
Actually after watching this again, I would say that was a 1/4 throttle take off...
