MiGs and Sukhois have generally been regarded as capable foes in air-to-air combat. It's in the hands of clods like the Libyan Air Farce that they get shellacked. When flown by a capable pilot, they are formidable.
The Russians have an excellent aviation history. The SU27 is outstanding. The problem I see is training. Does the Russian air force train as much as the USA does?

moving away from the point of the video - Migs are actually ver capable fighters, they do have major reliability problems but in general, russians have better fighters than their us counter parts. Don't believe me, why not actually look it up for once. Ive noticed we westerners never actually look at russian aircraft in detail. The pak fa stealth fighter will be better than the f22… the su-27 flanker is reported to be better than the f15, the US is also acknowledging it
@PlaneAU mate, you might be right with those examples, however they are rare cases in the scheme of things. "in general" Us fighters are far better than russian ones if you look through the past.
Or you could actually be an insider and not have to look it up...
The MiG is being out classed in every way by Suhkoi, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin. Our planes could go toe to toe and come away with a certain K/d ratio that is in the public domain. 15/1 for a US Navy pilot, 12/1 for a USAF pilot. 10/1 for a RAF and CRAF pilot... need I say more?
1)The navy has a better K/D than the air force? Erm yeah, ok if you whant to think that think it by all means. That point actually automatically disqualifies anything else you say int he future.
2)I doubt the USAF could get anywhere near the raf in K/D.
