i think this is fantastic if you are able to do this with your horse to his level but i also think his success and way of riding are almost impossible to acheive. i think if you can ride without bits then by all means do it - but i dont disagree with bits in the slightest. used correctly, responsable and treated with respect they are perfectly acceptable and safe.
Safety shit is bad? Like what splint boots and polos. YEAH who the fuck wants to keep their horse from bowing a tendon. Jeez... I really will never ever put bell boots on my horse again because I want him to step on the back of one of his shoes and pull it off.
Also Bridles? Are not bad if you know how to use a bit.
its only a training aid. you cant just tell a horse to lift its leg and it understand you. you have to show them and he gently will tap their leg or whatever to lift it. its simple training. its not like he jumps on and whips them to death. and if you actually take a close look, the whip is thin and flimsy.. it wouldnt even hurt if you whiped yourself with it. so just like relax. lol =) everyone is intitled to their own opinions though.
Yes, he uses a whip. Which is part of why I don't think he has a right to say "bits are abusive", since a whip can be just as abusive if used improperly. It's not about the equipment, it's about how you USE the equipment.
u must be blind!!!! he is not hitting them!!!! he has a parelli rope tied around their neck. he will make a certain move wit his hand and the horse will do the move he asked. duh!!! doesnt anyine read anymore
because in FREEDOM the ears pinned back show extreme concentration while doing a physically difficult movement or an exercise.
And one should remember that ears pinned back can NOT show agression ONLY apart from the general expression of the horse's face and other signes of body language .
Yes I know that! Well i seen horses have their ears back in concentration before and this looks nothing like that! Their faces also sometimes look angered, but maybe that goes along with the extreme concentration as well.
If you are talking about the black stallion then the key is the following - it is a very hot-tempered, energetic horse. And that episode with him TRYING to attack and jumping on Alexander is one of their first games when they both are trying to make a contact. And as any halters and bridles are forbidden the horse is absolutely free in his reactions and AT FIRST really was hot-tempered.
But the moments with spanish walk, pirouettes and other figures were filmed several weeks later, when the contact made and the horse willing to be taught and to work..
i don't have a bad word to say about what nevzerov (how ever to spell it) is doing, its incredible!!! although i gotta say i reallly don't like that indoor school...theres something about it!!!
What, you think you could do better? Please...don't make me laugh. I don't like all of Nevzorov's crazy ideas, but he is certainly an amazing trainer and rider. YOU obviously are the one who needs lessons, if you think he can't ride well.
that is so crazy, pure artistic companionship. <3

Do you have to teach the horse how to respond to the chodeo or chordo( what ever it is called) around the neck?? if so how do you do it?
speedreader104 2 years ago
how do you steer? i used a bit once that really hurt my horse and i want to learn how to train her to respond to this. could you tell me how?
WindRider182 2 years ago

if he is so good at communicating with horses why do his horses have their ears pinned half the time?

because in FREEDOM the ears pinned back show extreme concentration while doing a physically difficult movement or an exercise.
