Greatest thing about Hockey (and what makes it better than 1 boring Super Bowl IMHO) is when it gets down to the best of seven series. My team (Dallas) already got beaten out so I have to find another team to root for.I respect Detroits talent but hate the red beards. They've won enough. I'm rooting heavily for San Jose & love the entrance. Best thing about Hockey is they arrive in suits, spend several weeks pounding each other, and SHAKE HANDS when it's all over. for those of you who think you know anything about the sharks and their playoff woes...they made it to the Western Conference finals against Edmonton the year prior to the lockout. They have made it to the Western semi's a few years in a row but have not reached the Western Finals since then.

Last season no one showed up for the games until the Sharks went on their regular season tear from Feb-April....now because they are the best team in the league its the hottest ticket in town...i went a few weeks back and its all old ppl and corporate business people.....it may be packed but geez theres a good number of ppl that ruin it by sitting on their ass not cheering ....hella disappointing

In fact out of the 17 years in the league only 6 have had A.A. below 17,000 or 97% and the first 2 of those they played in the Cow Palace where they filled at least 98% of the seats. San Jose is consistently one of the loudest arenas in the NHL.
