Can somebody explain the Schrodinger's Cat thing when it was told to Penny/Leonard? I have some ideas but I'm wondering if somebody has a clear explanation.

@SatoTM3 well, you're wrong. the cat is dead and alive. There is a possibility that the cat hasn't died, but in both cases of opening the box, or the vial breaking open, kills it.
it may still be alive, but in both cases, dead all the same.
