Reminds me of Colorado. All the 4WD tough guys were in the median or rolled over while me and my 1986 Honda LXi Hatchback beeped a HELLO SUCKER and drove by. 4WD is great for getting going but has NOTHING to do with stopping. A front wheel drive with a handbrake is a winter wonderland of fun and much greater control in a skid. IF THIS MUSIC IS BEING PLAYED BY THE OCCUPANTS OF THAT CAR, THEN THEY BETTER WE WEARING TIGHT PINK TUTUS AND CARRYING A FOO-FOO DOG!
very common here...we have a center median like that, but slightly bigger, its purpose is to give drivers time to go into the ditch and hopefully not cross into the opposite side.
when it snows, its usually cleaned up right away. but they only use sand here, which is useless for black ice. but if theres a white out where its just blowing snow, you're pretty much one your own...and thats when these crashes happen
If I'm not mistaken, this is video of Iowa where I'm originally from along Interstate 35 in northern Iowa. Northern Iowa is geographically more flat than the rest of Iowa, and the snow gets easily blown across the interstate creating hazardous conditions in the winter. Plus, judging from the tan color, I think that police car was an Iowa State Patrol Officer.
Snow like this is generally found in the Rocky Mountains. It is there year round, sometimes upwards to 4 feet of it,specially when you get up to the continental divide. The flat land area is probably Iowa or Indiana (in the midwest part of the US).
I must ask of you? why this music agains a crash monatge? the only music you shoudl use is corny dramatic music, classic rock, dukes of hazard themetune or the benny hill theme and especialy METAL. NOT THIS!
imagine that I-80 swallows cars up allllllllllll year long!!! espeically in Lincoln NE i dont know what it is...whether the people there can't drive or what but i can't make it past that dang city in 5 years now with out an accident on I-80...i run thru there about 20-30 times a year! come on people learn how to drive!
Gads, for a minute there I could have sworen it was I-80 in Nebraska between Lincoln and Omaha hahahaha! You are the brave one in the hammer lane there! Great footage to say the least :op
Between 219 to 246, I have to ask the driver why he was passing everyone at the speed he/she was going? What would of happened if someone lost it when your right behind or next to them? You or them wouldn't of standed a chance to avoid an accident... Please remember, ALWAYS LEAVE YOURSELF AN OUT and when it comes time where you THINK you know how to control the vehicle, you had better get out of it before it kills you or someone else. Remember, the vehicle is ALWAYS in control no mater what...
I thought It was the highway to Edmonton from Calgary. That road is BRUTAL in the winter..... I got stranded there one winter and on the way home it took 4 and a half hours as aposed to just under 3 and there were ATLEAST a dozen vehicles in the ditche flipped over or turned around.... sketchy road....
