This is DEFINITELY NOT the directors cut - I´ve played the game on my PC about 2 or 3 years ago as a re-release (in Austria) and THIS was the "real directors cut" and the intro-movie had a LOT of more blood and splatter-scenes in it!

This DEFINITELY IS the directors cut. This is the PSX version of directors cut. The PC version of this game uses the uncensored footage from the Japanese version. You must learn to do more reasearch before spouting ya mouth.

I have the GameCube remake, actually. Capcom did a terrific job on it in my opinion. There's also two new monsters you get to fight against. I definitely recommend it
