everybody considerate win7 as error but win7 work great with any program or game.

Why you need to change compatibilty in win xp sp3?

Only one thing makes win7 to not working properly and that is with out license...

It didn't work for me. I have the Compatibility set to XP SP3, and I put -multithread in the launch options. Is the -multithread part only for 64x, or will wit for for Win7 32x?

Ha ha this fix solves everything. Shame on EA they couldn't give this solution on their forums. What a **** company to sell their stuff like this and leave users hanging... Thanks CFAMediaV7 for letting me use the game I've paid for!

I've been fighting this for weeks, trying everything related to the webcam fixes (which got me closer, but not all the way).

I had completed everything but the "-multithread" command-line option, including copying a saved game from my other computer that worked out-of-the-box, to get me past watching that freaking annoying 10 minutes of forced intro video; which got me into the game and allowed me to play, but still froze in the menus where the license shows.

-multithread fixed that! Thanks!

You sir, win 1 internet. Thanks so much. Don't suppose you know how to fix Metro 2033, it keeps forcing me to run it in safe mode, I have 2x screen 1 42" other 24", i7 Extreme and 1 nvidia xfx 260. So makes no sense for it to need safe mode or why when it is in safe mode to continuously crash.
