This might be a stupid question but I can't seem to change the desktop background on my Samsung N140 JP03. How do I do that? I can't find the option to change the background through the Control Panel (using Windows 7)

@Rayvana Hey I think your problem is that you have Windows Starter version.. microsoft were bastards and they limited its capabilities, even something as basic as this...

As far as I know you can download a programme to change this, check google.

@Acceptable76 I would have thought the color logo would give it away first but anyway.. Samsung have the worst backup situation ever.. I wiped Windows 7 Starter off and there's no way to get it back.

@Acceptable76 As I always do, I prepare backup CDs before doing anything. Problem is Samsung N140 backup CDs are completely bogus..

@netbooked Ah. Thats not good. I burned windows 7 and inserted it to my windows vista machine and the installation failed... and a long story.

Make a long story short, Vista hard ware is not compatible with windows vista, and I fucked up.

2 hours to fix.

But it's fixed. =]

there's like a shining effect around the netbook. is this because of the video compression?

@tazztone it's because I'm using some brightening filter on the video, otherwise it's a bit too dark normally.
