Speak to old man in leblancs lair in chapter 3, when Yuna is alone keep pressing x until u hear 4 whistles at end of chapter 3, after the end of chapter 5 press x in the field of flowers so the faith appears and choose YES!. You also need about 80% story complete, follow these steps and u will get the good ending.

What are the conditions for perfect ending besides 100% because i got episode complete in both Luca and Besaid, even have 100% now. But when i pressed X while Yuna was walking after the final boss i got the sad ending. Was supposed to repeatedly tap X or something or is there some requirment i missed or didn't do right?

back in chapter 3 did you tap X after you beat Ixion after Yuna says "I'm alone." and you hear Tidus's whistles?
