Ban all circuses and zoos. There might be laughter here but that's exactly what fur coats are. Live animals killed for a fur coat that could be synthetic an keep one just as warm. But oh no, we have to be brutal and ruthless and kill animals. Zoos have caged animals for life so that humans can view them. How callous.

Also zoos are needed for research so that we don´t have 200 scientists bothering gorillas in the wild. I hate circuses too. That said, I love the message of this act; a fur coat is made up of animals that were once living. I just feel sad for animals and people in circuses, most of time. That doesn't mean I can't appreciate them. People are certainly capable of having more than one feeling about something.

Second of all, they are trained profession animals that are revered and treated better than most people. They are the bread and butter for that act. Lastly, you need to relax and have a nice ham sandwich with a cold lemonade and try to enjoy life.

@ravenoptima1 Yeah Your spot on, she has the Animals inside the coat because when she comes back into shot You can see the coat is inside out and the fur that was on the outside is then on the inside!!

Plus You can see the Animals squirming underneath the coat when the Fox jumps!!

@RiverJudePhoenix93 .Hi! I may have to eat my words, i watched another where there was no cut away and all the little squeakers jumped off the coat!.....Same exact trick! I think it's the one that is called "The Schmarlovski Circus fur coat trick". I just can't imagine how the ferrets flatten themselves into such a seamless pattern of little oblong shapes. I know little animals them and rodents can flatten-out, but this is unbeleiveable!

I guess they could be perfectly trained, but really!,

Another theory is that there are flaps on the coat that the Animals are under and when the flaps fall it seems as tho the Animals just jumped?!

@ravenoptima1 Yes, you're both right. The ferrets are underneath the fake coat, she pulls a string in order to set them free; it's not that they jump, they just fall off. Also, as you observed, you can even see them move inside when she first walks with the coat on. I love the message in this video. THEY ARE ANIMALS, they shouldn't be part of people's clothes.

If you watch closely over and over again at between :50 and :54 you will see how it's done with the ferrets, they aren't on the outside like the fox they are inside then the lady pulls a cord and the coat flaps down in two sections (pockets) that held the ferrets inside.

Oh, please. Animals are not little people in fuzzy coats. "Traumatized..." indeed. Your prejudice distorts your perception. These tame animals are so accustomed to the show, they don't bother to run with the rest back to the reward which is part of the training. Why hurry, we still get the reward. As for squirming to escape...of course they wriggle, they're ferrets...and if they wanted to get out they would. But they have learned to stay because they get rewards if they do.

I repeat; animals are NOT little people in fuzzy coats. Their motivations are simple and can be used for mutual benefit of the trainers and the animals. See "The Dog Whisperer". It is a simple question of innate behaviors and rewards. "Fair" and "dignified" are nothing to a ferret. "Easy food" and "safety" are ferrets' motivations. And I repeat also, a ferret cannot be contained by a string if it wants to get out. Fatuous ideology distorts your perceptions and conclusions.

@speedboat It's one thing to use animals for their meat and skin, quite another to stuff them into the pockets of a hot fur coat just for a sight gag. At the end of this clip you can tell that some of the ferrets are traumatized, they're just lying on the ground not even moving. It's alarming, not cute or funny. Look closely, you can see the ferrets squirming around inside the coat, trying to get out before they suffocate. A few of them might even be dead. Very sad.

At most these animals are shocked - I'd say traumatized is a little overstepping the mark... if you've ever owned a ferret you'd know that they are VERY hardy and very inquisitive and bold. They stuff themselves into the smallest most suffocating of spaces whenever they get the chance. I don't get people like you - if animal rights concerns you so much how about you go out and do something about it in stead of having a cry on youtube :/

@kaelnyria They're inside pockets in the jacket, you can see it's turned inside out at the end. She releases the flaps, they fold open and the ferrets drop out all dazed and confused when they hit the ground.
