  • Nikon d300 or the cannon eos rebel t3?

  • I see on this revew that unlike the lastit does not go byond 360p Iwonder why foor it looks terible on full screen and very good I am usre HD I ddi see ona ibike race that you should use 760p it was vry blured on 1080p dow i wonder if thes shots are taken with the camcorder claims I wonder if the Fed Trade Comm has had a complaint decepted advertisinnnng

  • Why is there a D300 box in this video if this all about the D3000?

  • has no live view!

  • its amazing reviews. thanks

  • EVERYONE THERE IS NO VIDEO!!!! THIS CAMERA IS AWESOME!! MENT FOR TAKING PICTURES!

  • @Nickthetick144 so is this camera worth to buy for DSLR begginer?.... currently im using digi cam canon ixus 230 HS...

  • @mattabiko24 I bought it for my photography class and I have taken some great photos. The nikon is an awesome camera for a begginer :) hope this helps! Good luck on your camera hunt.

  • @SATyler2011 thanks for ur reply....

  • does this camera even record videos ?

  • @SouljaKidDa1 nop this camera sucks its good an all that but it suck i have it buy a nikon d5000 or d90 or save more an get the d7000

  • @hghgh685 why sucks?... :|

  • @owxkittyoffcial for me it sucks but at the same time its good but it suck cuz slow shutter speed an no video thats the only thing ohhh an you have to buy lens that are AF-S if not you have to work it manuel :/

  • @hghgh685 Well if Nikon were to add a focusing motor, live view, movie mode, and an external mic input onto the D3000, it would be just as expensive as the D7000. Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it sucks. The only reason why the D3000 is so cheap is because it is meant for the entry level consumers who have no idea wtf is a focusing motor is, the difference between an AF and AF-S lenses are, or even how to plug in an external mic. Cheap doesn't mean "suck"...

  • @SouljaKidDa1 no this camera does not record video, it does however do good pictures with good sharpness and clarity. if you want video i would get the new D3100 model. it has HD video and 14 megapixels. Digitalrev did a review on the 3100 as well

  • This music is really enoying since i think of shane dawson when i hear it

  • Nikon D3000 or Canon EOS1100?

  • @Ainh0u I use a Nikon, but I'd recomment the 1100D. It's much more advanced than the D3000, probably even has better live view mode than the Nikon D3100(and if you'll concider that one, might as well go for a 550D/600D). And the thing is, if you're on a tight budget, the EOS 1100 will give you the best value for your money in this price range.

  • купила такой фотик!!!!!!!!!!!!классный

  • your exposure value 'butt-on' (damit im getting that word right at least once)

  • You have bad porno background music. LOLOLOL

  • Where is KAI!!!!!!!! Lok is boring. =/

  • @TheRichiecon its not even lock moron, and these videos intended to be informational so shut up and watch the newer ones if you want entertainment...

  • hows the video for D3000? is it HD, 1080P?

  • @roboduke1086891 It doesn't do recording mate. I'm buying it though, saving up for a bit then buying the D5100 :D That's a beast

  • @roboduke1086891 The D3000 doesn't have a video feature...

  • @roboduke1086891 It dosnt have video :)

  • during the vid i turned my chair and started playing xbox... is that bad??

  • Does it have a bulb mode?

  • Im really honestly really bummed out over the video settings that it doesnt have :( But I really want this camera So I guess im just going to buy a digital camera to record... Hmmm thats alot of cameras to lugg arround

  • How would you compare sony a390 and D3000? Which one would you prefer and how big a difference would 10 mp and 14mp have?

  • 12. 2?? 10.2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Nickthetick144 10.2

  • Just bought one today. Stoked for it to get here.

  • What's with the D300s and the 50mm lens in the background?

  • Does this camera record video footage?

  • @OnlyTrio sadly not

  • @OnlyTrio no it does not have a video option

  • he says 12.2 mpx sensor while it s just 10.2

  • Yes! Someone is finally saying Nikon right. LOL

  • @aznfilipinoboi no, its NICK - ON. not KNEE KON

  • @mocha00beauty LOL, I don't really care. I just care when people say it Ni - Kon . LOL

  • @mocha00beauty Wrong , Its nee-kon ..

check nikon pronunciation in google , Wiki even have a japanese person saying how it should be pronounced

Ill believe the people from the country that makes it thank you..try again mr expert

  • This is going to be my first DSLR :D

  • @TheWonAznGuy save up for a D90 the low light sucks balls. If you shoot above 800 ISO the photos become extremely grainy.

  • @Freepepsi42 Why? The D90 is old tech, and when compared to the D5100, the D90 is outperformed in nearly every way... Including price.

  • @xmtsystems The D90 is a great camera, it has a built in auto focus motor and comes with the 18-105mm which is better then the 18-55. It's old tech but it is worth the price. And that's why the value of the D90 did not drop. And it is only a $50 dollar difference. And for the fact you can use more lens' then the D5100 is worth the $800.

  • @Freepepsi42 No doubt the D90 is still a great camera, but comparing kit lenses isn't going to convince me that the D90 is a better body. I've shot with a D90, and I've shot with a D5100, and I prefer the 5100 from my personal experience. Not having an internal af motor in the 5100 isn't that big of a deal to me, since most of the new lenses coming out are af-s lenses anyway. I don't mind manual focusing with the older lenses I have. The sensor in the 5100 is also much better. To each his own =)

  • @xmtsystems and better body. I don't have to scroll menus to change ISO. And the body can last a fall.

  • the shutter budden, the flash budden, and the play back budden. its button!!!

  • @iaregoldman muldi selector...

  • my first dslr :D

  • thanx a lot; I have just bought the came yesterday and it's my first dslr cam ever. I needed the basics...

  • is it 10.2 or 12.2 :p

  • 0321/ƃɐɹʇıǝq/ǝıɹǝןɐƃ/ʇɐ˙ʇןǝʍuoʞıu˙uıqɥɔı˙ʍʍʍ//:dʇʇɥ

  • The music was just so distracting.

  • can it record video?

  • @Tman27261 No, unfortunately.

  • Got mine 1 hour ago.... I simply adore it.

  • @TheCurlyHairs Can you record videos with it? Because some people were saying you can't.

  • @TheCurlyHairs owwwww i'm still waiting fot it ): can you record videos with it?

  • @Thevivimon no :(

  • LOK is that you???!!!!!

  • should i get this or the sony a390? or if there is any other DSLRS?

  • Can it take video?

  • Should I get this or the canon eos rebel xs?

  • @itstrentmichael Get the Canon Rebel T3. It replaces the XSi.

  • IT HAS A CCD Sensor

  • Is it just me, or does he say 12.2 megapixels at 0:11 while the text on the video says 10.2??

  • its 10.2 he got it wrong. thats a shame

  • WHY DO U HAVE AUTOCAR THEME TUNE???

  • So glad Kai does these videos now!

  • question : when i try to take flash photos on my D3000 my camera doesn't let me take the shot..and were the USB connection is at this weird burning smell comes out of there when i try and take a shot with the flash on...is there something wrong with the flash on my camera or and i doing something wrong ?..someone help me out here please. ??

  • Is it possible to see what are you taking photo of on the LCD screen?

  • @kyfka thats called 'live view' so if you look it up and see if it says it has 'live view' then yes

  • @ThomasShortley thanks :)

  • cool man

  • Did he just said 12.2 mp sensor at 0:11 ???? =S

  • can you make videos too?

  • this looks really difficult.by the end everything you said rolled off..i still want the camera.it looks amazing.

and is this newer than the d5000?

  • i Thoght D3000 is CCD????

  • lol you wrote CMOS sensor when it the audio says CCD..... and yes it is CCD

  • Is it me or is the intro song the exact same intro for Indy Mogul?

  • you have yeti arms

  • There is no movie mode or live view

  • @aznwerdna nope i was just on google trying to find out the same there

  • what did u say? 12.2 megapixels? hahahahhaaah lol :D

  • 8:47 "cut" LOL

  • Is there movie?

  • @nikki8344 no movie mode, but the d3100 does :D

  • @nikki8344 No, I have the Nikon D3000, it takes wonderful photos, but there is no video mode.

  • so many buddens

  • i love my D3000 it's great as my first dslr :)

  • you have all of your buddens

  • @97tarheelboy LOLL

  • LOL...somebody from NC is trash talking accents?!

  • @Woods1966 hahaha yeah we have our own accent. nice vid though

  • My brother in law is an A-hole with ADD. I wonder if this would be a good first dSLR for him? I don't think he cares about CCD or CMOS, as long as the pictures look great. No live view could be a problem.

  • NO MOVIE MODE?!

  • Hey its a CCD sensor not a CMOS! I wish it was CMOS though!

  • Is this better than the canon rebel XS?

  • @ammaretto yes

  • great for beginners.

  • how come they and indy mogule have the same music at the beginning?

  • Nikon d3100 is better than this but if you're budget cant take that expensive dslr i'll go for d3000

by the way i'm just a student :D and i'm just a beginner in this and i think d3000 is the best for beginner's? any suggestions?

  • can u use the big screen to take photos or do i have to look into the little eye hole.

  • @mervie17 there is no live view on this camera, so you`ll have to look into the little eye hole to take photos :)

  • The nikon d3100 is a huge upgrade over this

  • @macbookpro57 yeah it's also almost $150 more

  • Hey, hoping if anyone can help, I'm look at getting this camera for aviation photography, but I need a lens that's around 10X optical zoom+, if anybody can help me to find one or tell me what I'm looking for ( as in what number will it be...(**-**mm), It will be much appreciated

    Thanks :)

  • Can you use it to capture video?

  • @dkcomicchannel acording to what i've read, yes, 720p w/ sound

  • can it take video?

  • @Materpal it can only take still image, if your looking for video taking, you might consider the d5000, d90, d3s or d300s (: hope i helped!

  • @xEvvieAteYourMomx ive been looking at this one and the nikon d3100 which one would you reccomend?

  • @Materpal well, depending on if your interested in video taking or still images or both, i would probably consider the d3100, it has better image quality and comes with video taking. (: hope i helped!

  • @Materpal oh, and if your starter then i suggest nikon d3000! its not as complexed and would be cheaper and more simpler if you were only a beginner :D

  • I WANT ONE!

  • Its CCD senzor not CMOS:)

  • so can you do those cool slow shutter speed pictures were like u keep the camera in one spot like facing a car and u take a picture as the car goes by and the picture shows like a light streek from the cars?

  • turn off the music

  • What's with the porn music?

  • @yumusak

    great technology update = orgasms?

  • Comment removed

  • @yumusak and how do you know about that music? 8-)

  • i hate to sound like a downcast dave here, but really when u spend soo much money for a camera (in my opinion) you would want a film function, can a photographer tell me how come they spend so much to take still pictures. :S?

  • Is the guide mode good for a group of new photographers who don't know a thing about shutter speed, aperture or ISO? I could teach them a bit, but would it be good?

  • The background music sounds like porn music....chicka pow pow...chicka chicka pow waaow...

  • who the frick knows what 485 grams weighs? jeeze

  • @trainlova12

    Nobody, that's just it! XD

  • pretty much everyone outside of america who use the modern metric system, instead of the old and out dated imperial system!! Ha

  • anyone else notice that he said 12.2 megapixels and the caption said 10.2?

  • @KEBokeh what is better? canon or nikon and i have a canon eos 1000d and i really need a help because it's on manual and when i capture it the lights keep on lighting but it doesnt capture. help please? is it broken or what? i really need your answer.

  • its 399 at futureshop with one lense 569 at bestbuy with 2 lense

  • i've been trying to decide what DSLR I want to get as my first camera. So far this camera has everything I need except I watched someone do something cool with their camerica and wondering if this camera will do the same thing. Can you just set it on open shutter and hold the shutter open as long as you hold the button down?

  • @chippowzer Yes set it to "bulb" press it once opens it press it a second time shuts it.

  • @chippowzer Yes, you can. I'f you're looking for a good quality, affordable, and easy to use DSLR, you definitely will not be disappointed with the d3000. I got mine a few weeks ago (it was my first dslr as well), and I love this camera. I just wish I had the $ for a new lens. The kit lens's aperture won't go any lower than f 3.5 (which goes up to 5.6 when you are all the way zoomed out), which can make shooting in low light pretty difficult at times.

  • @drgnfrc13 which lense shall i get. im also beginner. i dont want problem like urs n i want a lense that generaly help me shoot most possible thing i c

  • @living1dream That depends on what you will be taking pictures of. The 18-55mm kit lens that it comes with is a good first step, since it gives you a fairly decent range of settings, but after you have gotten some experience with dslr photography, you will find out what it is that suits you personally. For example, I like to shoot mainly in low light conditions, so for me, a lens with a maximum aperture of 2.8 or larger would be best (the lower the #, the larger the aperture).

  • @living1dream It is probably best to just start out with the kit lens, then go from there. If you find that you are not getting the amount of zoom you would like to have, then you could look into getting the 55-200mm, if you are like me, and find that you are not getting very good results in low light conditions, the first step would be to get an external flash (I like the nikon sb-600), then if you still have problems, look into getting a new lens.

  • i also bought this for my first dslr... and I'm happy that i did buy this over the canons 1000d... both are good cameras for beginners but i got better offer from nikon,it fitted my hand beter and the 11 point autofocuse made my mind. but now all my frieds are looking me bad at me and say "thats not a good camera " and i ask why? and they dare to awnser that its not canon...

what the..? if i use nikon thats my own thing.. and they dont know sigle thing about cameras... :D bo

  • How can you manual focus at a 18-55 lense?

  • good work !!

  • im getiing this camera on saturday for my 15th birthday!!!

  • @Leah00133220 me 2!!

  • @Leah00133220 you are born: 21/8/1995 right? ME TO! XD

  • I bought this camera today. I notice that after taking a picture, it takes like 1-2 seconds to show up on the review screen. (vs instantaneous when I used a canon oes rebel.)...should the pic take so long to show up and if not, how can i change it for it to show up immediately?

  • @frakusv2 maybe it's because of the shutter speed you're using. usually the longer the speed, the longer the picture takes to process

  • @PBandJeIIy I found out the issue. When active-d lighting is on. it takes a while. when turned off, it shows up much quicker.

  • i have this camera and i really like it, but for people that think they're actually going to get serious about photography, get a d90 or d5000. i've had a d3000 since christmas and i'm saving for a d90 right now. you'll pretty much just grow out of it. with electronics like this, always buy more than you need at the moment.

  • Should I get this D3000 or the Canon EOS Rebel XS??? this will be my first DSLR btw....

    Thanks in advance!

  • its 499.00 at walmart

  • terrrible iso of d3k :(

  • @sirajrisvi

    It's $499 at best buy!

  • @DYE9 umm more like $549

  • @mrhenderson You can get it for $449 on Amazon.

  • @austin1052 maybe the body only, but are you sure its brand new? I dont care how much it costs I got mine :)

  • @mrhenderson Yeah. Brand New with the lens. Amazon always has amazing prices. I ordered a Pentax Kx on friday. I can't wait for it to get here. xD

  • @mrhenderson I got it for $499 but with taxes and a 2 year warranty, a memory card, and a lens filter; it ended up costing around $640.

So in a way your right.

Cameras are expensive but well worth it!

  • I have this baby. It's a work of art!

  • Ha he says "Neekon"

  • how much are those?

  • Worst camera that NIKON has ever made....people don't waste your money on this camera. If you are a beginner get the D5000 or D90....DON'T waste your money on this! Have any questions I'd be more than happy to answer some questions.

  • @KEBokeh ,

Why do you not like it?

    I'm thinking about getting it..

Whats different about the d5000 or 90?

  • @KEBokeh ya ...i wana buy a cam but i dono which dslr should i buy. pls help. this cam doesnt have live view. n i doubt if it can work well in dark

  • Is the Canon SX210 IS something similar? I mean other than this being a dslr and tht being a semi pro..

  • Its actually 10.2

    the narrator says 12.2

    which is wrong.....

  • @mistikraptor

Thanks a million! I don't really like looking at the screen!

  • i want to buy this camera

it is ok with new user?

  • What does no live view mean? Does it mean u can't see the photo wen u are taking a photo or u can't see it on the screen? Someone please please please reply! Thanks

  • @Darz2k10 unlike the small compact dig. cams where you see on the screen what you are shooting (live view - as you are moving the camera around), with the d3000 u don't get that, meaning, u see through the viewfinder to "aim"

  • I just ordered this. Finally saved up enough for it. Will be my first SDLR, wish me luck =D

  • can you see what you're capturing on the screen (live view I suppose?)

  • @xstriplett Nops.
