i know what you mean. i was 5 when this was originally shown. but, with the release of 'you are the quarry' i was introduced to the music of morrissey. and then the smiths. and to be honest, i rarely listen to anyone else nowadays. and i've never found any other 'star' as appealing as morrissey. youtubes great for seeing all this earlier footage. he looks wonderful in the 80's and 90's. and he still looks good but more 'mature' in the later stuff.
