  • Are you ever going to upload more videos of Nautilus?

  • @doonbugie Would love to, but she is currently on land getting an overhaul. The builder of the sub is also a partner in the Copenhagensuborbitals project to send a person into space - what to prioritise?

  • what is he going to with it ?

  • how much ballast water do you need and is there solid ballast?..seems like it would need a lot of water to sink her? thats a lot of space?

  • @porpoisefathom A little less of ½ the length of the sub are the ballast tanks. Its 18m long and the pressure hull is app 10m

  • @JbeckJ your info is much appreciated!!!..im building one 51.5 ft x 7 ft diameter--yea i had to calculate to use almost 2/3rds of the hull volume to sink her...

  • whats the hull thickness in inches? is it 1/2 inch rolled plate?

  • @porpoisefathom Its app 2cm thick. Same as denmark use for windmills

  • we all live in a yellow submarine... yellow submarine

  • How far can sail on one tank?

  • From home to the med - economic sailing :)

  • I appricate seeing someone such as you setting out to do what he wants to. it is a very inspirational act. I am sure you have recived much attention for your accompleshments.

  • absolutely an inspiration for me. Making my own submarine like this one is definently something i want to do in the future.

  • such a cool boat!! it's a boyhood fantasy come true

  • I hope to follow this video up with a complete walkthrough with Peter commenting along the way. From the dive controls to the engine room
