  • Aww, I love your message!! Your so right! I shouldn't focus on a #, but my overall health and how i feel:D Ima make that my mission lol...

and ahhh i ordered that book yesterday on Amazon! Watch, ima sick be following your videos with the book lol..

  • i actually subbed u for a while and tbh there wasnt anything special about so i didnt bother watching all ur vids but after this videos and the new years resolution video i have to say u are actually really amazing i love the way you talked about ur family history, it really touched my heart. more heart-to heat videos pleasee and ur makeup looks fab ;D

  • @jlhl3530 - Thanks for your honesty. I really don't put myself out there personally on my channel because that's leaving a lot open for criticism and judgement. But I feel like I've gotten to know my audience and also gained more confidence in myself to share more personal stories/experiences. I'm really happy with all the positive feedback and will continue being more open on my channel :).

  • Who's that book by ?? ove your vids by the way its inspiring me :)

  • @EmilyEllaGoat12 - The book is by Kimberly Snyder a clinical nutritionist :)

  • your 22 ?

I thought you were a high schooler .

  • @nikiFIGHTING - Nope, way past high school!

  • <3

  • This is a good decision you're making, a hard one too! but as long as you stick to it and don't give up you will evenutally get what you want! I wish I had the same motivation for losing weight right now, but its just hard to make time for it ..its mostly laziness. :( ..i wish you good luck though! i've been keeping this in my mind for a while now -_- but hopefully i can finally get around doing this too! :P

  • @maria82792 - It's a lifestyle change so of course it's a long process but I think as long as you still have the drive for it you can do it. Everyone gets caught up in laziness! I hope I can do it too, all you have to do is try :D.

  • I so agree, being skinny doesn't mean your happy.

  • @peaceloveShelby77 - Yup!

  • Yay for having a mom who is a nutritionist :D

  • @pixcia - That's so cool! :)

  • That's a good step to be aware of what you are eating. But sb has to get educated about nutrition first. I have started educating myself lately and every time I am surprized finding that some things are bad though I thought was good cause my mother and her mother and so on thought was good. Or I find that a food has eg vitamin C, but the body can't use it for some reason. If you take it serious, educating yourself on nutrition can be a very interesting and useful journey :)

  • @99sra - True, educating yourself first is best! Rather than relying on myths and such. I'm actually going to study in food science human nutrition :). There's so much to learn and it's so interesting.

  • I was planning on doing a weekly update on my progress and if I'm keeping on track. I have a juicer and we have been juicing but it would be awesome I'd you had some recipes and weekly goals we might want to accomplish together. I would love to do this with you. Maybe we can do the same cleanse and make a video on how we experienced it. Let me know. :)

  • @BeautyHI87 - Hi! That's great. I'd love to see your progress as well. I'm not sure if I'll be able to do a weekly update (videos) but I'm going to blog about it. What type of cleanse are you doing? If you're still interested send me a message and we can chat there! :)

  • That's awesome! I'm 20 and this year is the year I've decided to do the same; get healthier, work out and lose weight! So glad to see someone else around my age do the same and that I'm not the only one. :)

  • @mchavarria91 - Yay! Yeah we should support each other all the way. I believe it helps to have people do it with you, or have people with the same goals. :) Maybe it's the whole turning 20+ thing that makes us want to make a change.

  • just take note all your ingredients should be ORGANIC otherwise it doesn't help you in the long run

  • @JoAnneEllaine - I think that's more of an opinion and personal preference. There's a lot about organic food that are myths and to be certified organic there's lots of guidelines. I see where you're coming from. I'm new at this, but switching to more fruits and vegetables is a step in itself.

  • Great video!! Lets get healthy! Count me in!

  • @cezmee19 - YES! *high five

  • Great video

  • I think that it's great that you are starting now instead of waiting for there to be an actual health issue. Good Luck and Good For You!!

  • @LadyEMC2TV - True! Currently I do have some health issues, especially allergies and a low immune system. So I'm hoping this will help cure me from within :).

  • Hey brittani louise taylor has the same book to!

  • Your right its all about the health benefits. For me, I'm not trying to be model thin and whatnot but the way I'm eating now I can feel that my stomach is getting bigger (more "muffin top" if you know what i mean) and the pants I used to be able to wear I can't. Mind you my height hasn't changed since beginning of highschool and I'm in my mid 20's now.

  • @TheGLOSSette - Haha oh gosh I hate the muffin top. True, we all don't want the model thin figure, but just to feel more fit, healthy, and to be at a weight that's ideal for our height. :)

  • I'm only 4 feet 11 so I'm pretty small framed. However I tend to gain wait soo easily. I used to be naturally thin like flat stomach and whatnot. I didn't even eat extra healthy. I just ate whatever my parents ate. We didn't have much chips and coke and stuff at home but we do eat sweets here and there. There is a weight range for each height. Since I'm small framed I should be at the lower end like I used to. Now I'm at the high end. Let's eat healthy together and keep each other in check.

  • @TheGLOSSette - Same here! I think I'm at the high end of my BMI as well. I'm 5'3", and I want to be at the lower end too :). Yes let's keep in touch and motivate each other!

  • @nikkithebrat cool thing since the day i messaged you i think i already slacked off.. i hope to stay on track.. my bf is rewarding me with a pair of nice skinny jeans if i keep up my health/diet

  • @nikkithebrat ok deal.. we will be buddies for this health kick

  • I have a similar history with my grandparents and whatnot and I try to eat healthy but its so hard. Its not like I eat fast food every day but I still need to watch what I eat. I think unless we are in that situation where we MUST eat healthy we are gonna slack. Like I know if I continue to eat the way I do I may end up with those same illnesses but cuz I'm only in my 20's so I don't see the urgency and I slack off (not purposely)

  • i literally pressed the LIKE button after watching <3

i really love this video hun :) i can't wait for more of your healthy videos!

good luck and love you <3 xoxo

  • @b3bed0llxoxo - Thanks Char!! :) <3 I'll try my best to keep up with these health videos. I just love all the positive feedback and I feel like others are really here to support me and I can support them.

  • This is so amazing! I just started doing this recently as well! Keep strong girl! :)

  • @margaretknewthat - Yay! Thanks girl, you too!

  • Do some video of what u eat ! And your healthy grocery plz :S

  • @MzBarbiiebella - I've recorded both meals I've made AND my grocery haul :) will be uploaded in the next week or so :)

  • @MzBarbiiebella - I'll be uploading a grocery haul soon :) and just small clips of my meals.

  • you are gorgeous! <3

  • Thanks for sharing your personal story, I really appreciate your sharing with us about your family and some personal feelings. You are so motivating! I'm trying to stay healthy, and it's hard not to eat something really unhealthy sometimes, but after watching this I think I'm back on track :) Can't wait to see future videos about this! Go girl go! We're all behind you cheering you on!

  • @loveyourlily - Thanks so much Lily! Yeah, I had to really think about if I was going to post this or not, but I think it's important for people to know my background first before explaining my future goals. I hope I keep up with this series, it's really fun and uplifting to hear and see all this support and know that I'm not the only one.

  • you are so sweet and very pretty

  • seriously though, its something i have been suffering with, i eat big portions but knowing that i starve myself because i know i do not have time to eat like before going to school, i sleep in or something for example, its just the way i do it, but i know its not good, can you help me?

  • @robingacud - Sometimes it's all in our heads, that we have to eat big meals to get through the day. Try to replace unhealthy food with more "filling" healthy foods like a hearty salad or bring along some healthier snacks you can eat through out the day. I noticed eating apples and pears really fills me up.

  • you made me eat a banana ahha, thats a big change in mood right now.

  • @robingacud - Haha right on!! I'm not saying to cut out all the foods you enjoy, just in moderation and to be more conscious of what you're eating. That's what I have to work on haha. I like bananas :).

  • oh man, i was eating my carne asada fries, and you made me put that away while i was wathing this vid. goodluck though i think i should consider about what i eat, i love eating so yeah.

  • 1) Ur gorgeous <3 2) do u mind do a series on this heathier eating 3) this vid is so inspiring and I support u 110% Xoxo

  • @princessjessykaykay - Thanks so much! I REALLY appreciate the support. I was afraid I wouldn't get so much support because this is a "beauty" channel but like I said, beauty in inside AND out. I just made a "Health and Wellness" playlist so that'll be the "series" I'm going to work on. <3

  • I still can not belive that u are 22 years old !!!

  • @BeautyFashionTeen - Lol me too. It doesn't feel like it :)

  • your so pretty :)

  • @sephoraloverr - Aw thanks so much

  • Second comment! And I don't think cancer is hereditary..??

  • @Luchiee2ThaMax - Sadly, it is hereditary. 19% of deaths are due hereditary reasons, but more than 50% is from lifestyle choices.

  • @nikkithebrat Actually, most cancers are not hereditary (less than 10%). You can inherit a tendency to get certain cancers (in the form of a mutated gene) but it doesn't mean you will get cancer.

  • great video!
