since 2002 at the end of the Sampras era, the years 2003-2007 had the best quality of matches mainly when Federer, Agassi, Safin, and Nalbandian played each other.... never seen a higher brand of tennis than that.

Thanks for these older, more rare videos! It was always a pleasure watching Marat play with such easy power. Brutal, yet controlled and accurate. Nothing that Nalbandian could do in this match, he was simply outplayed right from the start. It's also interesting what the commentator said at the end, with the way Marat was playing, it was possible, but hard for him to win the GS, but more possible to develop a good rivalry with Federer. Obviously it never quite turned out way with the injuries.
