thanks for the link. I've seen some of ther 90s videos and at times they did have that spark from yesteryear. I guess I had such vivid memories of them from the early 70s that everything else seince then seems somewhat perfunctury(sp?).

Wow, getting old sucks doesn't it. Compare this video to the ones from the '72 touor. Sad. Glad I saw them in '72 and '76. My only regret is I didn't get to see them in '69.
@NJcruiser The Stones were better when they were younger, but you don't have to go back to the 70s. To me, the best available video of this song is at watch?v=rCrbziy20aU (Live '95 Amsterdam) In this 1995 performance, the band is using their experience to make the song work, but they haven't lost that much of their skills. Lisa Fischer makes this song great; she was at her peak in the mid 90s. I agree that by 1999 all of them had all lost a bit.
