First let me say I think I speak for almost all of us when I say we want you to stick around the internet. You're videos have become something I've looked forward to every week and I see no reason for you to give this up if you want and are willing to continue.
I would suggest that everything be on blip, and every 4-ish videos you make a youtube-vid summary and follow with something like what you did as an ending to your main channel videos, like a table of videos (30 sec samples) and links.
ditch youtube, I'd be very happy to add you to my RSS and view you on blip.tv. There is no reason for you to support someone who has treated you so poorly.
Jordan, put everything up on blip. Monotonize it, you deserve money for the excellent experience you give us. I also think its completely possible to turn this into a career, look at all of the people who have managed to turn there internet show into something to live off of...

@DAudIcI It's not an either-or proposition, he can post whatever he likes on as many vid sites as he can find. The best approach is to mirror all your content across multiple services, to ensure that you attract the widest possible audience.

Maybe just mirror content on both blip.TV and YouTube for both channels, so like having 4 channels. The 2 on here and then the same 2 on blip.tv. you will reach more people and get more viewers. Also it isn't like Google hates you and targeted you to disable the AdSense account. It just happens apparently. Look up AdSense account disabled and you will get tons of results. YouTube is so astronomically huge they can't have a genuine per person help. They deal with so much every day
If I had Partnership or Adsense and lost them both, I would check into Revision3. I see a lot of successful pod casters there. I honestly wouldn't see Youtube or anything else as my primary focus for regenerating revenue. To gain revenue, you have to spread yourself to everything out there as much as you can. The more support, the more you'll be out there as I see it anyway..either way you choose I'm all for you! :)
I think it should be a gradual switch over with maybe only periodic videos here on Youtube. The main focus shouldn't be here anymore if they are going to treat you like junk. I'll gladly find you on blip.tv

This makes me sad and a little angre.. I've been watching TWIL for over a year, love the channel, and TWILtaks is a great vlog. Jordan you are the hardest working youtuber I have ever seen! No one else with a full time day job could pull this off as well as you do. But Youtube have given up so then screw those guy for not actually watching you channel to determine if they should support it or not. Either way I will see you on TWIL.com and blip.tv. your amazing and I'll keep watching where ever.
Why don't you try to find some sponsors? So you can continue use YouTube and also earn some money. After all, you deserve them. For an example, take a look at hak5 (not spam, just a suggestion).
@XtrimVerSuS hak5 is on revision 3. it'd be great if TWIL was picked up by them, but that's why Hak 5 and the rest can afford to post here, they've got regular backing from their main site, rather than youtube.
Jordan, You should not continue uploading videos to YouTube even if it doesn't mean more work for you. Do not give them any more traffic. They obviously don't care about you so why should you contribute to traffic on their site. Just my $0.02

You should keep uploading them to YouTube, its not really a hassle anyway because of the fact bliptv does all the work for you, as for how to get income I suggest you try and get sponsored then just mention it at some point in the video
You could put it on bliptv and just give an announcement here saying you updated there, like with a text update or something, along with a link to it.
You shouldn't upload them to youtube anymore. Basically because Blip tv pays per view. If you upload them to youtube, you will get less views on blip.
Most people who already use youtube are already using blip, so you won't lose that many people. Use youtube to plug your videos on blip.

I watch the show for it's content and production quality. As long as that stays the same I will watch it anywhere. No other channel on youtube comes close to TWIL.
I've had this problem too man, and I know how you feel. I had a website that had over 100, 000 + page views a day, and it was beginning to close into a peak of 200, 000 page views for a short duration, and for no reason Google canceled my adsense account. We appealed to have it reinstated and they said "no fuck you". We had no reason to have our account canceled, and lost over $600, plus what we would have gained, atleast $800 more. Google isn't evil? Bullshittttttttttttttttt
I have had the same issue. I had adsence on my blog for a bit with the hopes of generating some extra revenue for the hard work and devotion. But a few months later Google gave me the finger as well. I was pissed. Not so much the fact that the account was disabled but that they gave me absolutely NO information. All they told me was that essentially something bad has/could happen and that I should politely f*** off. At least give me some damn information. This is my money we are talking about.

I think you should write google once again and ask for an explanation or reasoning. Do it politely. If you don't get any satisfactory explanation,. then I think you should make it public, i.e. publish the e-mail exchange and ask for the public to comment on it. Bad publicity for google is not something they want.
BlipTv sounds good.... I'de probly keep your channel here though and Advertise on your page your main channel on BlipTv as to let future fans know that all your content is there now..... As for TwilTalks... do u have partnership with that account too? I assume not...... maybe make a TwilTalks channel also on BlipTv>?

" Foxish live RSS " into the box and download it. Click click on twil's link that ends with /rss and it will make a folder in your bookmark bar . Just like the live bookmarks in firefox.
@TWILTalks I personally think you are making the right decision I know of two youtubers who mainly use blip and all they do is post a video of a few seconds on youtube notifying their subs they have uploaded a new video to blip with the relevant link in the description. I think youtube has got too big to be hoest and unless people of value (like yourself) say enough is enough and move to another platform things will only get worse.

This makes me sad and a little angre.. I've been watching TWIL for over a year, love the channel, and TWILtaks is a great vlog. Jordan you are the hardest working youtuber I have ever seen! No one else with a full time day job could pull this off as well as you do. But Youtube have given up so then screw those guy for not actually watching you channel to determine if they should support it or not. Either way I will see you on TWIL.com and blip.tv. your amazing and I'll keep watching where ever.

Why don't you try to find some sponsors? So you can continue use YouTube and also earn some money. After all, you deserve them. For an example, take a look at hak5 (not spam, just a suggestion).

I think you had the right idea.
1) Move all upcoming content to Blip.
2) Each time content updates on Blip upload a corresponding video with instructions on how to watch it on the corresponding old Youtube account. Maybe just a link.

You should keep uploading them to YouTube, its not really a hassle anyway because of the fact bliptv does all the work for you, as for how to get income I suggest you try and get sponsored then just mention it at some point in the video

You shouldn't upload them to youtube anymore. Basically because Blip tv pays per view. If you upload them to youtube, you will get less views on blip.
Most people who already use youtube are already using blip, so you won't lose that many people. Use youtube to plug your videos on blip.

I've had this problem too man, and I know how you feel. I had a website that had over 100, 000 + page views a day, and it was beginning to close into a peak of 200, 000 page views for a short duration, and for no reason Google canceled my adsense account. We appealed to have it reinstated and they said "no fuck you". We had no reason to have our account canceled, and lost over $600, plus what we would have gained, atleast $800 more. Google isn't evil? Bullshittttttttttttttttt

I have had the same issue. I had adsence on my blog for a bit with the hopes of generating some extra revenue for the hard work and devotion. But a few months later Google gave me the finger as well. I was pissed. Not so much the fact that the account was disabled but that they gave me absolutely NO information. All they told me was that essentially something bad has/could happen and that I should politely f*** off. At least give me some damn information. This is my money we are talking about.

I'm not saying give in to Google and whatnot or to not stop using YouTube, i'm just saying that Google probably won't react to your decision.

I think you should write google once again and ask for an explanation or reasoning. Do it politely. If you don't get any satisfactory explanation,. then I think you should make it public, i.e. publish the e-mail exchange and ask for the public to comment on it. Bad publicity for google is not something they want.

I would use blip.tv, I like the idea you mentioned at the main channel about posting a video at youtube saying 'wel there is a new video up, go ahead and watch it at thisweekinlinux com'. just because it's easer to find you for new watchers. maybe you can do a weekly blog of 'this week in this week in linux'?? I would like to see the twiltalks video´s at your site as well because I didn't figure out how to subscribe to a channel at blip.tv (maybe I missed it).

Jordan is speaking very clearly, and more slowly, I understand of what he says, to 80% :)

" Foxish live RSS " into the box and download it. Click click on twil's link that ends with /rss and it will make a folder in your bookmark bar . Just like the live bookmarks in firefox.

@TWILTalks I personally think you are making the right decision I know of two youtubers who mainly use blip and all they do is post a video of a few seconds on youtube notifying their subs they have uploaded a new video to blip with the relevant link in the description. I think youtube has got too big to be hoest and unless people of value (like yourself) say enough is enough and move to another platform things will only get worse.

Hey I dont personaly care what site you put your videos on but like them on youtube bc of them being posted when i first enter youtube and i do understand that google fu*ked you by disabling your adsens account so if you do go soley to blip.tv i ask that you put a short video saing that there is a new video with a link to either the twil website or directly to blip.tv and if you can make revanew on blip than upload all your videos to that and have a great day at work tomarrow :):):)
