Portland is my hometown. Although it is considered liberal I grew up there and know differently. It used to be liberal but then the feds moved in in 1985, hired 100,000 more police, built the injustice center and the federal torture chamber in the center of waterfront downtown, built a dozen new prisons and covered the entire city in video surveillance. Now everyone is either locked up/on probation/parole or a cop, detective, lawyer, po, jail/prison gaurd, etc... A police state in only 20 years!
