Well, I know the medical students in hospitals are always happy to get a lot of exercise in how to deal with broken bones and nasty falls from horses. If there weren't idiots dumb enough to ride them and fall off the insurance companies would be forced to lower their fees.
Horses are for those who feel some petty need to control a large animal, and at the same time they don't even control their own lives, so they've got to compensate with something.

@WASPTexas And actually no, NO NO NO, horses are NOT for people that feel the need to control a large animal, horses are for people that want someone to connect with that will love them no matter what. Horses are for people that crave that connection of trust that is hard to find it humans. Horses are for people that care, people that can love, people that can trust.
How come it's only teenage girls that ride horses then? Why aren't there any boys interested? Why don't the boys feel the same need as the girls? Let me tell you what need, the need to get sexually aroused, because that's what horseback riding is. They even had sidesaddles for women in the past because of this.
After their teen 90% of those girls stop riding and don't ever bother anymore. Why? Because they find more important things to bother with, boyfriends.
Be honest now. If anybody in a city (we're not talking about countryside peasants and rural scum here) was asked what they feel about a 40 year old woman who says she loves her horse and has a trust in it, like no human, I know they are going to say she's a pathetic woman who still is stuck in her teens and never grew up, and probably has nobody that loves her. You know why.
And if you want a good loyal and smart pet, get a dog. It can save you, a horses "loyalty" is feckle.

And 2nd of all i have a dog, and shes a bitch. I completely prefer horses over dogs, but thats just me, and why are you giving me your opinion on horses? You probably have never been around horses for very long, let alone ridden one. And i honestly don't care what you think. Because your opinion on horses does not effect me or change mine. So don't waste you time. And horses are not "feckle"

Cuz if u have, u would think they are amazing animals just like a billion other people in this world do!! And when riders fall off, more than HALF the time its the riders fault.!! I ride Horses, i jump horses, i can run barrels on horses...Are you calling me a "dumb idiot"?
Ok. If you are really going to try and convince that riding is a sport, if it is a sport, show a video. Not a whole bunch of senseless pics that no one cares about.

You should get a life and leave everyone else alone, because no one cares what you think! And obviously i wasn't trying to convince you that riding is a sport, if you look at the title you will see that it says "Why do we ride?" smart one i'm just trying to educate people about mine and many others passion.
