he WASNT happy up to this point, something in his life had made him sadly take the route of suicide,

the events that occured that day was the last straw.

@theballsack It is certainly a tragedy for all involved. It is terrible to be left behind by a loved one but it is surely more terrible to be staring into the noose and deciding to do it.... It's all relative. I do have a problem with a parent doing it when their children are very young but I feel wrong to judge. Very complex topic.
