  • Wow great job on the training! =D

  • I MISS MY BEARDY :(

  • you know its soposto be shallow

  • nice beardies :) just wondering, do you keep them in the same viv? or seperate ones? heard from alot of people that if you keep more than one together theyre pretty much garanteed to fight and really hurt/kill each other... dont know how true this is but if anyone can help me would be greatful.

  • @stumps0925 One male if more than one... I don't know about no males though...

  • this is awsome. i wish mine could swim like that

  • GGGGGGIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE MMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEE OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • i want 1 i want 1 i want1where did u get them XD :) ;) lolololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololol

  • Build their stamina! So

Bath them at least once a year

  • Can I just say to all these people saying bearded dragons live in deserts and can be killed or infected by water then you people are stupid, no animal on this earth can live with out being hydrated! There are rain storms and ponds in the deserts and a bearded dragon will usually live near some sort of vegetation or pond in which both have H20 to hydrate them, they would rarely swim, "RARELY, they will swim or bath in water at least once! Also teaching them to swim will keep them strong and bui

  • Urge to dump owners in deep pool of water. Rising.....

  • Now really talent... Mine dose it too, it's natural.

  • Haha I love when that happens! :P Yeah I know what you're saying and it's true but at the same time, once everything is taken care of they'll be fine. I've 2 Beardies, one red phased. And 23 eggs waitin' to hatch! :) :)

  • the big beardie reminds me alot of one of my own dragon

  • Who wants to bet that out of all of these people bitching about how supposedly life threatening water is to bearded dragons, very few to none of them actually have a bearded dragon?

  • while I don't usually put them in the tub that is deep, to those of you that are yelling at this person, back of. They are being supervised and that's what matters. The danger is that they will drown, water does not cause their ears to be infected -_- and respitory infections isn't from being in the water, it's from breathing in excessive humidity, there's a different. Just like how being in your pool doesn't effect your breathing but the humidity in the summer does. Use your brains people.

  • peaple saying its crule r wrong it helps them shed

  • they swim like sperm :D

  • You are a complete dumb ass, they live in deserts not swamps. They can get respiratory infections being in water. Good job tourturing reptiles, douche bag.

  • @cbudney14 It is advised to put them in water! it helps them shed their skin and they need to play once in a while! they always splash around in their water dishes.. Respiratory infections? NO

  • @cbudney14 tourturing isn't a word

  • good swimmer

    ;)

  • amazing

  • They are reptiles not amphibians. You can clearly see they don't like it.

  • Just put them in the water, mine swims like a snake in the water, they also, (male/female) drunk their heads in too.

  • how did u get them to do this?!

  • How long did it take them to get that big????

  • wait dont they live in austrailia or something, when do they ever have to swim, or at least like that! lol, and dont lizards clean themselves

  • how many times should i bath my bearded dragon?

  • @DAVASTEN every three times a week

  • @DAVASTEN once a week and the only soap you can use if any is dawn. If its safe enough to use (diluted) on ducks, its safe on berdie's. and don't let the water go over its chest.

  • 0:15-0:18 swim like a boss

  • Are they supposed to put their heads under water to swim??

  • I like how he says "now that is a specially-trained bearded dragon", when it's not like it has much choice but to swim back to his hand at some point. I mean, It's in a tub with water over it's head... Where else can it go?

But still, they looked pumped. Them's most definitely some happy beardies. They swim like Godzilla.

  • Am thinking of getting a,othere dragon should I keep them in the same tank or will they fight ?

  • I wanna train my dragon to swim! jealousy!

  • @iHUPOffical oh you dont train them they swim naturally its instinct to know how to swim if you have a pogona beardie

  • @XxAssassinsKreedxX I don't know what kind mine is :( I got him at petsmart

  • @iHUPOffical no its not what kind, a beardie's scientific name is a pagona vitticept.

  • @XxAssassinsKreedxX oh, ok then :)

  • all how cute im getting 2 this week

  • @tiaj28 omfg i know right? and so am i!!! cant wait<333333

  • man yours swim good. when i put mine in the water he fights to climb out. even when it only 3inchs or so

  • @phillip4541 He might like it after a while.

  • Wonder if myn would swim...Hes abit lazy, knowing him, Ill put him in the tub and he would just sink to the bottom , in the same position.....like

    "Yeah? What?"

  • They look and swim like giant newts XD

  • Meanie there not trying to swim there trying to get the fuck out

  • @XxXxGAMERMANxXxX Study the bearded dragons normal reactions before posting comments like these, because if you knew the normal reactions you would think differently

  • I love my bearded dragon she is over 6 years old an still going strong :D but i dont think i want to drown her now haha...

  • Dude are you retarded these are bearded dragons not fucking marine iguanas what are thinking if anything specially trained my ass it was looking fora way to get out of the water retard

  • @mannydouhnut I would have to agree.

  • IN THE MOVIE HOLES, WHEN THE YELLOW-SPOTTED LIZARDS WEREN'T CG ANIMATIONS, THEY USED BEARDED DRAGONS!!!!! IT'S TRUE, CHECK IT OUT!!!

  • you have a cool bearded dragon i have iguana

  • ....I have a three year old beardie and its like 6 inches! a regular bearded dragon is two feet. We recently figured out it was a dwarf bearded dragon the rarest of all kind. So i am putting him up for adoption. anyone who wants him just contact me at my channel or just pm and we can talk about it. Thank you for reading thisAbout 12 results

  • swimming or drowning, i cant tell

  • spike..

  • i wouldn't do that because they might not be trying to even swim

  • Watch they dont get any water up there nose they might not be able to breathe and drowned

  • I agree justa tiny bit that the water is too deep, but then again, who am I too judge, youcan clearly see that they are 2 happy dragons under great supervision. And sure are adorable ;) my beardie does the same:)

  • how deep is that water? my beardie freaks out when hes anywhere near water i was wondering if i should let him swim

  • OMG that's awesome, I own a beardie!

  • I like the way the 2nd beardie swam :) But you can put less water.. like half of what you put?

  • he swims like a snake lol

  • Hey i just got a bearded dragon and i was wondering if this is natural wen they reach adult hood?

  • omg ppl shut up! they are clearly fine!! they had a hand in the water for them to rest on and they were totally supervised. thats how beardies swim!!! the one didnt like it so he picked it up!!! the other one was actually swimming... they'll all do it if you put them in water! geeez. this guy did nothing wrong!

  • Haha why are people complaining? At about a minute in one is doing a calm paddle with his rear. Trust me if a beardie is freaking out in the water, ITS GOING TO FREAK OUT!

  • Umm alteredoptions, thats actually enough water smarty :P So i'ma thinkin that your the dumb ass.

  • @SilverStream413 go watch other videos mother fucker. proper videos of swimming bearded dragons won't show them swimming wildy like this one. they're fucking trying to get out of the water. How do u know if it's too much water? simple. leave them in there for a couple hours, then you'll see if they drown. either that or just make sure the water doesn't go above the height of the animal.

  • dumb asses don't deserve to have pets. can't you tell that's too much water? fool.

  • lol -3

  • Ha, there like mummy! SAVE MEE!!!!!

  • fucking retards thats WAYY too much water, theyre not swimming...theyre terrified that they are going to drown.....idiots i feel terribly sorry for those dragons :/

  • They are ADORABLE !!!! I love beardies :-) Gorgeous

  • You really shouldn't put them in water that deep =/ It should be so shallow, that it reaches their chest. If it gets in their ears, it could cause some major infection.

  • @Quejira It's causing no harm to them at all. If they are in water it will get in their ears anyway. As long as you dry them properly and have the right tank conditions they'll stay healthy.

  • @adamennis999 Wow, didn't realize that my comment from 3 months ago was the most thumbed-up. I'm only saying what I think is right. I get a little paranoid and I had a Black Bearded Dragon once. He passed away of old age. Was the sweetest thing in the world. To me, all I see are two holes. Then, I see water. In my head, my mind is saying "Don't put water in their ears!" :)

  • GODZILLA!

  • WTF water isnt supposed to be that high, FAGSSS, get a dog or a cat if u cant take care of these

  • i have a question,can lizards

    (reptiles in general) show affection

like a cat may purr and bump it's head into

you,or a dog may wag it's tail and jump all over you, so how do you know that a reptile is showing affection???

  • @YOUNGGUNNO yes mydragon loves my hand and love after i come home from school

  • @YOUNGGUNNO you pet there head but not near there eyes and they close them and with monitors and tegus wen u scratch there back the stand up

  • they are so big

  • That's nice but do this with a dog or a cat. They don't seem to like that :o

  • i put my bearded dragon for the first time yesterday and he SWAM im so happy

  • Why does mine hate water? :(

  • Don't do that :'( they are struggling to get out which means they don't like it. They are desert animals, they are not used to swimming.

  • How old are they?

  • great vid

  • dont get water in his ear it goes stright 2 their brain

  • @MrSpike11799 if u get water in ur ear does it reaches your brain aswell?

  • they swim like Godzilla

  • do bearded dragons like water because my brother's seems to hate water?

  • The water really shouldn't be deep enough to go into their ears. That would damage them.

  • what is the tyemprature of that water because i want to bath my beardys but i dont want to make it to hot or to cold

  • the water is supposed to be up to their legs. they should nt actually be swimming they can drown.

  • Do they like swiming? and is it ok if there heads go under water cuz i am scard that they will breath in the water.

  • @Mrslolzbear No it can damage their ears if they go underwater.

  • I have 14 beardies who LOVE to swim. I put large shallow containers on the floor and let them choose to go in on their own. There's no doubt they all love the water but I believe the water in this vid is too deep to really b safe. Yes, let them swim & play but always put safety first!

  • you do understand that they are scared shitless right!!!

  • Yh its too much water but omg....they are not gonna just sit there and watch them drown...they are supervised. Jeesss.

  • no no thats too much water...hey haer to hawe their feet on the ground or they are scard...so put water only till their feet...and then slowly push water on them (not on head...do not on head..cause you can damage its "ears) but this is too much water and trust me they are scared....

  • lol they swim like godzilla

  • i do but mine just freak out and doggy paddle not SWIM haha but ty :)

  • to much water!!!!

  • awesome!! I just got my very first bearded dragon.. I wonder how old he should be to try this?

  • i liked how he jumped on the other one to get out of water in the beginning

  • youre doing it wrong. Push their head downin the water until the bubbles stop.

  • @SwayWithTheAK thats not funny

  • @SwayWithTheAK want me to push your head down underwater until the bubble stop

  • @kornisawesomedude that depends. only if you gag me good and treat me like a bad dog. Then yes :D

  • HOW DO YOU GET YOUR BEARDYS TO BE SO CALM IN THE WATER MINE FREAK OUT

  • @lilkicker95 you should not try to cook them. they like water but it has to be only handwarm, not colder or too warm.

  • i didnt see any thing rong with that he looked like was haven fun

  • AHH BABY GODZILLA :D

  • You should put something for them to go on in the bath, like a toy or something. Just incase :P

  • Bearded Dragon for adoption. He is very friendly and I am not sure I can pay overnight shipping. He is a normal beardie. Used to be a great eater. Has a calcium deficiency or broken leg problem. Besides shipping he cost $0.00 you will have to message me why you are fit to being the owner. He has been loved his whole life he is almost 2 years old now and I dont want him to pass now. HAVE A CARING HEART MESSAGE ME ben32reptiles NOW>

  • @ben32reptiles awww i want it but my mom would say no cuz i already have two Green Anoles.

  • @webkinzluv09 I know how you could fix that problem...it involves the beardie having two little green anoles for dinner. hehehe.

  • @goldAUsilverAG awww i could never do that to mine i just got the girl to turn green:3 plus its unhealthy for a beardie to eat lizards u kno cuz its like us eating other humans plus mine would escape

  • @webkinzluv09 Hehe. Sorry for bringing it up. And not to be to hyper-critical but a beardie eating an anole would be like a human eating a chimp because humans and chimps are primates but chimps are less advanced and beardies and anoles are lizards but anoles are less advanced. Still kinda weird though.

  • @goldAUsilverAG Hmmm yea it is wierd but mine are very fast :( so i cant really play with them but when i spray them they run into the glass.

  • i'm wondering how many people who are saying this is cruel and that the lizards are scared actually HAVE bearded dragons...i've put my beardie girl Gypsy in two types of bathes. the one she usually gets is where it comes to a little below her armpits. she just walks around a lot and i feel comfortable leaving her alone for brief periods of time. the other is WAY deeper so she can actually swim and i NEVER leave the tubside in that case. we can scoop the lizards out if their in trouble you know.

  • great talent

  • for all you out there saying that this is cruel etc and that the dragon was scared, you can clearly see theyre not scared, if they were theyd be trying to scarmble up the owners hands?

They (the two owners bathing the dragons) are watching closely for them getting into any trouble and they dont. stop being pussies

  • You're one beardie has mouth rot.

  • This is sad. I bet they died. You are not a good pet care-taker. You should try a goldfihsh instead dumbass.

  • @jazlynv123 How is that sad?

  • Did you know that blah blah blah blah.... He made Michael Phelps look like a puss, good sir.

  • i have a question. im getting a bearded dragon soonj and i need to know how much you should put them in water

  • @BlitztheMutt abou t1 time a week. Some people do it more often but that is just personal choice. Don't do what they did though. The water should only go up to about their shoulders NO FURTHER!

  • They are cute. Do they bite?

  • whats there names?!?!

  • Are they still alive?

  • They are NOT water dragons. They should not swim in water. If you want to bathe your bearded dragon only fill the water up to their feet.

  • no kearbster ther about 70 doller plus if ur ganna get the cage and thefood the san the house and mosly the lights

  • I take my beardie a bath once in a while when he manages to poop&run in it after he's done but I dont do it in that deep of water nor leave him in there that long.I jus wash him up&take him out(he sometimes still has a fit in the bathtub tho)lol he loves bein wrapped up in the towel after when I dry him.

  • That's animal abuse do that again and you will get bitten by one of them!

  • The poor things are scared. If you HAVE to put them in the tub, make the water shoulder length. And put an area they can climb out. They poor little guys head right for the side and when you put your hand in they go right for it. That's not funny.

  • LOL, video after video, "experts" saying don't put them in deep water, don't let them live in sand, don't let them eat this or that........ It is amazing that these reptiles have survived for millions of years without the priceless advice or assistance of "experts" while living in the wild deserts of Australia. They were here before humans and will most likely still be here when we are gone.

  • @SGTSnakeUSMC Yeah, they survived that long WITHOUT human interference in the WILD. But it's amazing how many stupid people kill captive "hearty" species with their stupidity .

  • EVERYONE STOP TYPING PARAGRAPHS, THIS WHOLE THREAD LOOKS LIKE A GODDAMN STORYBOOK XD

  • @TeaTimeForBrits Do books scare you?

  • this is youst so wrong, why do people hawe animals they dont konow anything about, stupid. and please dont do this ever again to your animals if you love them at all :((( so sad

  • cool,nice theese lizards

  • That is so mean. They are scared.

  • I've gotta say normally the water is too deep and you should never put your dragon in an uncomfotable situation but these beardies seem rather happy. They are not droped into the water, they chose to swim off the owners hands, there not trying to get out either, they are jsut swimming to the end and feeling for more space, whatever anyone says, that bigger beardei is an impressive swimmer and the owners were actully letting them sit on their hands for most of that video.

    People hate too much.

  • nice video id never seen them swim before,

check out my water dragon video

  • Fuck u... This is way too much water and they could have drowned they were trying to stay on ur hand because they know it. The water should barley touch ur dragons shoulder MAXIMUM!!!! u stupid people..... Learn to treat ur dragons right. Of coarse they can swim. Doesn't mean u have to make them!!!

  • kewl...

  • fuck you dude its not trained you asshole do you know anything about lizards? no you dont so dont do that to them and before you do it put yourself in thier shoes see how you like it bitch poor things

  • liam, obviously you need to do more research, yes they are desert animals but you need to bathe them at least once a week....the water is a little too deep yes, but overall they know what they are doing

  • looks so cute :3

i love to see my baby bearded dragons swimming in the washbasin in a little puddle while i'm cleaning their terrarium. sure its no good to force them to swin so i put something they can climb on in there.

  • @RaptorRicky Its not horrible good excercise but these guys have it to deep so it's stressful...but bathing is good. Anymore questions??

  • i cant wait to get my bearded dragon :OOO :D

i have been lookin at them since christmas and i just love them :D

    theses are very cute :D

  • poor guys..

  • I have to agree. You're kind of forcing these guys to swim and it's not natural for them. If want them to bathe, fill the tub with warm water only enough so that it's still dry on one end, or so that it doesn't go above their heads. HOWEVER, the larger one really looks like he's a naturally talented swimmer, and I think he actually enjoys it. The other one though clearly does not. You shouldn't force them to keep doing it if they're clearly uncomfortable, just because they're smaller than you.

  • You cant tell this person anything! When you try to,the very limited intelligence resorts to insultting the person critisizing the situatioin.Just read the comments below and you'll see that for your self!! I rest my case! I have 3 beardies. They sure don't like deep water and it clearly shows in this vid!Not only that, all the research I did before I got my dragons tell you NOT to have the water any deeper then mid body.Just because they can swim, sure doesn't mean they WANT TO!!!

  • Comment removed

  • they clearly do not like it in there. you should put something in there so they can climb out of the water. I bath mine but the water is only 6inches deep and I have a big rock either end so they can climb out. the water is 30'C and they are never put in the water. they are put on a rock and they go in when they want. some days they aren't interested and I do not force them. bath time is for their enjoyment, not for my amusement

  • it doesnt like swimming does it? its trying to clim out?

  • My Beardie likes to dunk his head under water when I bathe him

  • Are they amphibian?

  • Cute...until they drown because there is nowhere for them to go when they're tired.

  • @BPinard no they cant drown they float

  • Awesome dragons, may try this with mine as he loves bath time a lot already.

To everyone saying this is cruel and stressful....Isn't taking any animal out of their natural environment for the sole purpose of entertaining yourselves cruel and stressful in the first place?

These animals are all unique and each have their own characteristics...these are obviously swimmers:)

  • You can bath beardies but you dont bath them in soap in the water has to be aound 98-99 degrese farhenhiet.

  • Mini-Godzillas!! :D

  • Bearded dragons wont just drown if in deep water guys. If they feel dangered in the water they puff up and can float. Also its highly recommended to give them a bath 2-3 times a week. It hydrates them and helps with their shedding process.

  • this is just cold

  • Poor Lizards
