That red training knife was in my pocket. It's one of my favorites as it is made of a stiff plastic that won't give your training partner a friction burn like rubber and don't get sharp burrs like aluminum. Day 2 at the Kenpokan school in Hanover, Germany focused on empty hand techniques. Here I am showing a defense against a hook at close quarters and the difference in philosophies between how Pekiti-Tirsia would recounter a fireman's carry counter and how the Penjak Silat I also studied would finish the same move.
