Such a nice nice sound! I never thought about just running straight from the RCA jack on the harp on my Stage Rhodes. Do you think it's really better though, since you're bypassing any circuitry to lower the impedance? I would think it'd be more susceptible to noise. Great phaser sound!
Im a Bassist so I cant tell you the chord names but the intro go's Em 2nd inversion C bass. Fmaj 3rd inversion D bass. Emaj 2nd inver. E bass. C 3rd inver. A bass. And he'll do another inversion of the Emaj sometimes. Can you understand my lingo And did that help anyone out there?
Why do you need a tutorial? I just learned this song by pauseing it on every chord and looking and listening. look where his fingers are at! By the way, great job and thank You
Thank you. I think I used software compression. Don't have any good hardware for Rhodes (except phaser but it's not the one used in the video - here I used software one). I suggest using some good preamp before going digital. Once I borrowed some bass preamp from my friend and it sounded really nice with Rhodes. Please show us your Rhodes!

I think this phased Rhodes should have been in the original recording. It REALLY adds a Jamiroquai funky vibe to it. :)

For those who are interested: I think the chords are like this:
Intro/Verse:
Am7 - Cmaj7 - Dmin7 - E
(at the end to the chorus: F#dim)
Chorus:
Fmaj9 - Bbmaj9 - Amaj9 - Cmaj9 - Fmaj9 - Emaj9 - Amin11
Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not a chord wizard...
