MOST importantly! Check Disney 'dates' before walking into the Magic Kingdom with one of your kids on your shoulders and finding out it's one of their "Gay Days"! Then you do an about-face and head back to the car so it can be a Sea World Day! The kids maybe a little sad, but you promise them you'll go there another day to save the kids from perversion.
Been there, done that, and burning more vacation days so we could go on a 'straight' day. One of their guys told me, "85% of the staff are gay!"

I also wanted to add to MAKE SURE to make your ADRs (Advanced Dining Reservations) up to 180 days before your trip begins. You would be surprised how fast Cinderella's Royal Table or Chef Mickey's gets booked up!
