Thats to go into 4wd. Lockers do not put the vehicle in 4wd. They mechanically link the axles side to side. You are thinking about locking the hubs to go into 4wd.

true but having all four tires spinning as apposed to just two in 4hi helps a lot. u can just gear it a little higher 3rd, 4th, or even fifth gear.

there's actually a way to do that with rubicon's. my friend told me that u can rewire ur lockers so that u can use the lockers in 2hi, process is difficult though.

yeah its completely different. b/c the factory lockers on a rubi can only be on when in 4lo. and if u rev the engine over a certain amount they turn off. i really wanna know how to turn that off, it'll prob void the warranty but F!@$ i don't care.
