  • Hi and thanks for the great questions. It's crucial that children grow up being active in as many different ways as possible to help develop their overall coordiantion. Young children need unstructured free play every day to grow and develop optimally. Parent s need to lead by example. and it should be fun for everyone. Let's turn kids on to being active, not turn them off. Yes, schools have a much greater role to play as well. Thanks for stoppng by and commenting.

  • Very cool. At what age did you too start working out together? Did you introduce Thomas to the benefits, or was he more motivated for the fun and/or time with you? He'll have healthy life learning those behavors so early. Your son looks as fit as you, very cool. I wish schools today would teach fitness like this instead of traditional prgrams that do not offer long term health benefits.Thanks for the inspiration! I am going to try this a 8 year old.
