Nice truck man!...the 4.3 vortec is a great long lasting engine.. i got a 2002 with a 4.3 and i keep it looking good and it has 270,000 miles and still running great!!!

that 0-60 is quick. Too quick almost. I'm betting your tire diameter is off on your tune and its messing up the speedo (or rear gear). But I'm basing this vs my short bed supercharged 4.3 silverado that can't get traction to save its life. I mean I probably have 40hp more than you and more rear gear and a 5spd and we have the same 0-60....hmm

My truck is an 05 single cab swb with 3.23 gears and runs to 60 in a little over 8. I'm about to swap it out for an ls2 and the 6l80 transmission!!

@2001silverado363 i did mine blue, you have to remove part of the dash to get that plastic cover off then just tape, cover and paint. 2 coats and 1 coat or clear.

thats kinda slow compared to my 4.3 but he does have different gears o mayb jus a tune or chip cuz myne switches at 5500 rpms at bout 45 n second 5500 at 80

Love the video. I have an '06 short bed with the 4.3L. I've added a K&N intake, Flowmaster exhaust, and Superchips tune...runs about like yours. Tops out around 125.
