@568sunset you need to check your info pal,animals are NOT destroyed after 39 days my dog was with the RSPCA for 10 months (no body wanted a scruffy mongrol dog with one ear,which is hardly the fault of the RSPCA is it).There are plenty of other LONG TERM animals that need re-homing as you seem to be interested in re-homing dogs let me have your contact details and I will forward you some info. Today I found out the RSPCA is useless. We found an injured Kestrel. Can the RSPCA help? NO TAKE IT TO A VET. TWO on the reseption desk did not answer the phone I had to drive there. Question. What is a Kestrel? All they want is our money. I tried everywhere no one wants to know. I had to put the poor thing out of its misery. So MUCH for the caring RSPCA. Nice warm offices
WHat i want to know is why the RSPCA allows the Welsh Puppy Farms to continue? The evidence is there - breeding bitches n studs kept in terrible conditions. Many have disease's , inherited conditons , mange , fleas ect. Many are hairless from mange , blind from been in the dark 24/7 and usually have filthy matted hair and bodys covered in pussing weeping sores. Its also on video that these poor dogs dont even get basics such as clean water. AND THE RSPCA ALLOWS IT TO CONTINUE ! WHy ?

When will people learn that the only way to put a stop to this is by not buying any of the pups and getting the police involved with any one who does this sorta sick stuff. I'm glad my local pet store doesn't do this... well as far as i know they don't.

Another idea would be to get a dog from a dog rescue centre. That way you'll be saving his life and not contributing to puppy breeders. There are too many dogs and cats anyway so encouraging them by giving them profits is not the best thing to do.
And frankly, if you claim to love dogs why should it matter what breed they are?

It is an outrage, I unwittingly bought a puppy 13 yrs ago from dogs4us in Manchester within 2 days he was so sick we thought he would die, I reported them to the RSPCA, yet dogs4us are still selling sick puppy farm bred puppies. The only people who really "need" a papered, pedigreed dog are people who intend to SHOW their dogs professionally, NOT people who want a simple family pet. You don't need to papers to have a "real" Golden or "real" Collie or what ever.

I know some people want a "pure-bred," they like a certain look. There are Breed Specific Rescues out there! my puppie that i have now was abused & treated like crap.
they just treated her like nothing, like she was just money.
