The photo at 54 seconds shows Hill at Monaco in 69 not 68. Compare the rear cowling hurriedly cobbled together in '69 after wings were banned with the custom made version in the 68 pics which was used before the wings were developed. Great video, thanks.

Great video, have to say the Lotus 49 with the british racing green is the most beautiful car ever, F1 was not quite the same again after the greatest driver in the world Jim Clark died. Even after 40 years since he was killed people still talk about him, thats how brilliant he was. God bless you Jim.

Hard to imagine that Team Lotus is history, when lets face it the best team of both the 60's and 70's.

Amazing how many radical ideas Chapman and his team either invented or made work.

Amazing shot of the Lotus 72, you'd never believe this car was in the same decade of the other ones.
