  • the compressor from a turbocharger?

  • I can't seem to figure out the main idea... you used the original shaft from a turbocharger ('cause the turbine wheel is friction-welded on it) and you built the rest (combustion chamber etc) around it to make the jet engine?

  • what material are the bearings made of

  • you will have to understand aerodinamics and design first and then make it axial flow thats why these model jet engines cost alot of money there if you wish see my jet videos enjoy!

  • wow thats cool

  • Hey Web, that's beyond sick! i can imagine the care you take in your measurments and precision. Definitely shows the painstaking detail man. Definitely shows! What do you plan to put the engine in?

  • the shaft and shaft tunnel are not GOOD for my engine :( but I will use them for educational models, soon a much stronger shaft will be made and better shaft tunnel + the diffuser in 2 weeks. Jet designing is very very very very very very very hard!!! Your working with 0,02 mm a a lot of the time and you have to take into account many things like shaft dilatation and axial play. The engine will be used for ultralight or bike.

  • Very sexy!

    Good luck with the construction!

I would love to see a video of the completed engine running.

It sounds like you could be at this project awhile. It will be a difficult project I am sure!

  • i dont have one!

  • you know i have no idea wat that thing is r does but.....is looks cool =]

  • Thouse are the components for a jet engine of mine. :] *headache*

  • arata super. Cand crezi k il asamblezi complet? abia astept sa-l vad!

  • awsome
