hey larry awesome fish room i wanna model mine after yours. btw could you give me any info on keeping discus? im new to them and want to know what you do to keep em going. also any info on breeding bristlenose, discus, and german blue rams. thanks a ton.
Honestly the perfect fishroom. I want mine to look exactly like this. Haven't seen a more accurate vid for what I want to do. Could u make a video of how you went about building it from start to end result ur at now? Would be rediculously helpful. Great vid thanks
Amazing! Very clean tanks! This is the only way to have a fish room. Nice simple set ups kept clean and I'm really liking all the low light plant action you have going on. It really makes it pleasurable to look through versus some very stark fish rooms I have seem before. Well done.
hi uh i have a question i have a 10 gallon tank and my sister accidently dropped 3/4 flakes from the can in to the tank and now everything is dirty the gravel the plants even my heater and filter and its to the point i cant see the back of the tank please help(this is my first tank)
Hi Larry, I have enjoyed watching this video so much that I have rewatched it a few more time since, I particularly like your set up of the low light planted tanks and I think I will uses it as reference and inspiration for my own fish room delevopment.
Just a question can you tell me the make up of the substrate used in the Corys and Rams tanks, how often you do water change and do you use a gravel cleaner on them?
The substrate I used on those low light tanks was pool filter sand and I capped a portion of the sand with small river pebbles. Some of the sand was not capped but left exposed for the fish to root around in. My low light heavily planted tanks got very infrequent water changes mainly just topped them off. I did use a gravel cleaner but only in the areas that were not heavily planted. Mavbe once a month.I no longer have these setups as I have gone discus only and bb tanks.
Very Nice fish room, But what gallon do you have you pairs in?... and does the plants and rock help ? email me at angelfish.r.us@gmail.com if anyone knows and has rams for sale lol
@MrGman0909 you should never keep discus by themselves they can become stressed and die, they feel safer in numbers get atleast 2 but 6-7 is reccomended
Beautiful setup great job i was planing on setting up a fish room as well and was wondering if you have any advice on keeping and creating a fish room. Also i was wondering if you have any advice on breeding discus and rams thanks
I usually spend about 1 to 1 1/2 hours a night cleaning and doing water changes. Maybe 3 hours over the weekend. It isn't work though, it is a stress reliever.
I want to know that how you clean your tanks because I am facing lots of problem.
And do you add hard salts? Oh yeah one more thing when you put your hands inside your tank, is it necessary to clean our hands with hard salts or is there any other method?
Amazing love the fishroom if u have any tips on starting one like what to use and how to begin plz send me a private message I would really like your input cuz ur fishroom is great thanks
Absolutly amazing fishroom I'm trying to start my own fishroom if u could give me any tips and tell me how u made yours and what u used to make it plz send me a private message thanks and again amazingggg

To cut the flower pots I use a carbide rod saw blade that fits in a hacksaw. Under $10 at home depot. Cuts the clay pots like butter.

What I would like to know is, what are you using to make those openings on the flower pot so nice and crisp?
The only thing I can think of would be a diamond cutting bit.
BTW: Your fish room is very awesome, clean, organized and not to mention cool.

I use no additives in my tank. Tap water that has been aged for 24 hours. Nothing special to cleaning.
