@Tryggvardson It's actually in pretty bad need of a tuning. It's a really old piano, and the last time we had it tuned it fell out after only a few weeks.

Also no offense taken, I'm surprised no one else had pointed this out.

@amon666amarth666 It mainly follows the guitar riffs. Also both hands play octaves the entire time (with a few fifths thrown in). The key is e-minor.

The right hand is entirely the guitar melodies, and the left hand only ever uses the notes B, C, D, and E with their corresponding octaves and fifths.  The intro is E, C, B. The verses are E, D, C, as is the chorus and post chorus (that I forgot to play). The pre-chorus is C, E, D if I remember off hand.

Also I don't know that song. Sorry.

@GreenDragonZ500 Writing them is much harder than transcribing them. I give you crazy props. I think the piano is one of the harder instruments to write on. It definitely feels less natural than writing a song with a guitar.

@bushinarin My piano cover of Cry of the Black Birds ignores the tremolo. I just play it the same way I played the intro It's a pretty easy song to transpose.
