Just wanted to say that have been deeply upset at the way Muse have now steered towards the main stream. We should have know that since Absolution was released I guess. Origin Of Symmetry is their best ever album and all since haven't been as pure and meaningful as that one album. Its a "Crying Shame" to quote Muse's song :)

i dont think they went mainstream i think their music is just evolving and mainstream adopted them. muse is a very ambitious band, i dont think that they would change for anyone but themselves. they probly just got bored of their older style and moved on to something more interesting

@OxJerks He uses lots of effects, but if you're looking to get that sound I would suggest a Big Muff stompbox and pump up the low mids. You could also get any kind of overdrive/distortion for bass.

This has got to be one of the stranger Muse songs. I love it. It's heavy and atonal, but has a melodic chorus. They don't really have a lot of other songs like this. Maybe Citizen Erased or Hyper Music, but it's still pretty different.
