  • i got 12k hids for 42 and free shipping and bright like a mutha haha. no halogen housing i have halos on mine

  • @lilrob2030 oh and their 35 watt alot cooler than 55

  • haha thats not the cheapest i paid 70 for biexnon/h4/ 35w

  • That's really expensive for a generic ballast. I suggest getting a kit from DDM tuning for about half the price.

  • For 10 bucks more you could have gotten a slim ballast kit with any kelvin rating from HIDGuy.net. its a lifetime warranty that will never get voided. i know i am a valued customer from them.. ive had the kit for 2 years now and not once has my ballast gone bad but a bulb has and i have been warrantied and reassured that if anything happens to the bulbs again i will have a full LIFETIME warranty

  • I am sure your DDM kits have a 155 volt output capability like more expensive ballasts that can drive bulbs longer with a more stable current. Cheap kits have higehr failure rates and shorter service lifes, You will get what you pay for. Good luck on finding a long lasting kit for 39 dollars. 110 is a reasonable price for a good kit with shipping, there are better ballast than those in exhistance though.

Lifetime warranties usually limit you to one single replacement in the fine print.

  • boy 110 delivered is alot for those i can get them for 39 with any kelvin choice

  • Take a look at the power handlign capability of the ballast that come with them, they only handle ten amps and eventually fry. I replace them all the time for people that make that mistake. This happens to be the same cheap ballast, so in reality, you both have garbage HID ballasts now

  • oh no i ordered full digital ballast for 69 55watt from ddm tunning and both the cheap and high end come with life time warrentys so i wouldent care if it fryed i could just replace it

  • $110 was 18 months ago (June 2008).

  • yeah thats still alot my firend got teh same ballast for 70 on his m about the same time in july

  • true they're like 37 bucks on ebay with a chocice of colors and sizes

  • or 29 bucks on ddm tunning plus those are shitty kits that dont have lifetime warranties

  • So are the ddm tuning kits, they just allow you to replace them every time they fail leavbing you with no headlights while your kit is in the mail. Id rather pay more for a kit that wont fail. Most warrantees liek that limit you to one replacement kit then they are void anyways.

  • Do not turn hids on and off really quickly you will shorten bulbs life.

  • This was a durability test, so the entire point was to flick the lights on and off as many times and as quickly as possible to see how well a cheap kit could stand up to the torture.

  • It just erodes the electodes of the bulb at a higehr rate than if the bulb was lit normally, thats all. What will happen is that your bulb might fail to light at 2000 hgours instead of 2500 hours, but you wont notice that untill its actually burned for 2000 hours, which takes years. In all likelyhhood, your ballast will fail before then.

  • ordered mine from sparkhid

  • go on ebay. they r only $50-$60 for good ones.

  • Hi bro,, you bought a xenon kit on ebay? Im looking for a kit, but Im not sure the quality for those kits. Who are the seller or the brand of the kit?

    thanks.

  • ya i got 4300k 9006 kit. i cant remember who they were from. Everything is just fine with mine. just look around on there and make sure they sound legit and make sure they are from the us!

  • U think ,,,, the kits on ebay have a good quality bro ?,,,I´m so confused, I see a kit for $60.00 but what are you think ?

  • yeah thats what i bought. it is kinda risky but i didnt have any problems with the kit.

  • could u get some 4 my old school

  • yes, i think it was from OMG.

They be about $90.00 delivered now.

  • @djmaunder $110 is expensive that's not cheap, I paid $44.99 shipped for 55watt HID kit and the seller is in USA , not in China.

  • > $110 is expensive that's not cheap

In June 2008 the price of $110.00 with delivery (Australian) was considered cheap.

  • @bendix109 where, ddm? I'd pay $63 after shipping for my 55 watt set..

  • @danwat1234 what is ddm? did you mean where did I buy it from?

  • hey did you get those from OMG HID
