@BrawlerChristian Wado-Ryu. But in the vid there are many styles, but all doing the same type of competition. Kata competition is probably Shotokan.

@smegel1 It says WKFkarate community in the top right corner. WKF stands for World Karate Federation. And the matches are fundementally different from Taekwondo matches.

so very true, I love it because of the sheer power and technique involved. It may not have flowing movement, or target the joints, but that is what MMA is for. And it you get hit with a good sidekick, you'll hit the floor.

The bad: the matches are still stopped way too often. Knockdown fighting is a better format overall.

I totally agree. I take goju-ryu, recieved my blue belt this evening actually. Kumite or sparring is sooo much fun. *looks at injured knee* stupid thing! Its soo cool when they do the katas at the exact same time!
