I adore this song. It does the impossible. It describes the creative process, the obsession with the creative process. When I saw the original Broadway Production, this song absolutely reduced me to tears. Sunday In The Park With George was simply Sondheim Genius.
Don't you feel this is Sondheim's most personal song, perhaps an explanation of his own world, his way of working, the only way all his landmark shows could form? i.e. the life of the artist, the genius....explained in dotted music and short syllabic words (less is more) as only a giant like Sondheim would... and could.... be so bold as to attempt... let alone master!
For a second, I thought this really was Mandy Patinkin. You have a very cool quality to your voice! I love this song. Good job! It is a little rough at times, but this is still a very enjoyable rendition.
You have a rich and lovely voice, and yes, reminiscent of the divine Mandy , but work on "soul." You wouldnt have tackled this song if you didnt have a lot of it in your heart :) The sound is a bit 2 dimensional and we long for 3. Give in and soar in the music and the message. Good Luck to you.
Hi I think you have alovely tone, the only thing I would suggest, if I may, is to add a little more "conviction" to this particular song. To bring out more anger, frustration etc? All the very best
Your voice has a nice Patinkin tone to it, very soft and gentle tenor sounding. I heard a little pitch problems, but who doesn't have those once in a while? Good job.
Btw, where did you get the karaoke track for this?
Unlike Mandy Patinkin, you manage to sustain the right vowels at the right time. Nicely done. =]

A few pitch problems (but don't we all have those?). But your voice is very pleasant, despite any technical errors.
I also have the Singer's Musical Theatre Anthology, though the bass/baritone volumes, as high notes are the death of me.
