I remember seeing these guys about fifteen years ago at an air show in Dayton, OH.  I wasn't expecting much--come on, they're flying single-engine turboprops, right? Boy, they shut me up in a hurry...they really stole the show and got a huge ovation when they rode back down the crowd line. They are a tremendously skilled and professional group of pilots. Condolences to Captain Fernandes, his family, and the rest of the squadron from the United States.

A very sad day. I pray for his family and friends to make it through this tragedy. I was fortunate to see them last year in Dayton, their only appearance in the U.S., and was definitely impressed. His flying brought joy to those in the aviation world and I'm sure he gave to the same to the ones he loves. R.I.P.
