your digital paintings are much more impressive. maybe that's just because I know people who are alot better with C4D than this, but you did say this was only 10-15 minutes, maybe it would be better if you spent more time.
i just made a new layer and gave it a gradiant,then the layer with the 3d object on top of the gradiant layer, i set the blend mode to overlay or whatever if want.

I didn't know what "Blending Options" did besides the shadows, colors, etc etc. Now I know about the actual "Blending" x]
