i personally think that ps3 is more for people that dont game alot and just occationally want to pick up their ps3 and play online because they dont need to pay for online. Because if they dont go on it alot then xbox live would be a waste of money. But the xbox is for hard core gamers that play alot and it makes sense for them to pay for online. Ps3's graphics are better. Xbox's online experience is better. Both have good games. but personally i think xbox is better for me

@iSpannerzz actually, you're wrong. the only reason why it seems that "hard core gamers play a lot"is because the 360 has been out longer than the ps3 and like you said, 360 owners have to pay for LIVE so since they're paying for it of course they're forced to play more because like how you also said it'll just be a waste if they didn't so yeah... anyways, both the 360 and ps3 have hardcore gamers that play a lot, you just need to own both consoles to realize that.

I like the ps3 because sometimes i like to go on uncharted or god of war. But the controller is tiny and uncomftable. So i know they are both good consoles :)

Ps3 better graphics better sound quality, 1080p wtih bluray which makes it an all around great "Entertainment" System dont get me wrong it does have fun exclusives like uncharted 3, lbp series and GOW series but in reality it's much better for netflix and movies. I absolutely love the trigger button on the xbox 360. I played halo 3 and shadowrun competitively and it's by far one of the best controllers. I rarely use the D-pad on it, but from what from others experiences, It's apparently not the best. The ps3 controller is way too wide and I hate it for shooters and sports games. It's great for games such as final fantasy though. Sony should really introduce a new controller for it's next console. The ps3 controller should have a battery door.
