Wow that is a BIG band compared to ours. I mean, WHOA. Were doing this song...and this is my first year marching....ug. Marching is satanic you know? It's hard, but I love it.

at least the fans in my area of the south endzone think that. During halftime performances everyone made fun of them.

well, i mean--the MV's don't participate in "contests" where other bands could "beat" them...its an entertainment organization for the football fans and is a show band, not a competitive band. anyway...regardless, i'd say they're 1000 times more entertaining than that other band in the south endzone.

hahaha sorry, just a little jab. yeah, i definitely agree. the problem with the endzones is that we're never facing them, we're always facing the sidelines during a show and during the game we're the whole length of the field away. its the same thing for us in the north endzone and the HT's (no hostility this time), during their show they're WAY too quiet because they're small and facing away from us and during the game we can't hear them over the crowd from across the field. but that's lane

i know what you mean. our marching band did Queen last year..and i cant stand it..and we are doing Bon Jovi now...its so annoying. you play the same three songs EVERY DAY for like..5 months. It gets SO old.

that's the fun thing about the MV's, we do a different show every 1-3 weeks, so we do about 7 shows a year and the music doesn't get too old...bad memories from high school of one show all year long! haha

congratulations? though i doubt a high school band (fairfield unioM was it?) sounds that much better than a college band i suppose its possible. for future reference we learned this show in a week, performed, then started a new show, so of course it isnt going to be the highest quality. also its college band. we're all about entertaining and having a good time. the disappointment of one marching band enthusiast, while unfortunate, could really matter less to me.

Marching Virginians are pretty awesome; I'm in the Loudoun Valley high school marching band trumpet line; a few people I know that used to be in our band are over there including my old section leader. Rock on.

The reason you can't hear the chorus is because during that part of the song, the band was turned to the other side of the field, and since the song is rather quiet and on the low side, one side just gets screwed out of hearing that part, unfortunately the video is from that side. It's plenty loud to hear in the direction the band is playing, any louder and it kind of ruins the mood of the song.

well there was high notes on trumpets i was in the front close to the 50 playing double G's at the end

well...i could tell its Dead Or Alive...but..im a little dissapointed in the chorus...it never got loud..i was expecting high notes on trumpets...and a louder bass part also
