  • What A Min In 0.45 Somebody Plzz Tell Me He Didnt Say He " Got The Mac Over Here" Thats FAr From A Mac ! Wonder Why He Talking So Fast He aint want anyone to hear What he Said

  • At least he went into detail unlike other videos..much props!

  • yoo dude iv been making music for awhile with reson 5 a my MPd and a LPK both are Akai products very good and affordable... the thing is that i cant seem to make something worth hearing haha.. i feel like the reason sound bank its not good at all.. what do u think would be a good sample pack or do u any sounds that u know i can get for free or u got any to shere anyone please help

  • @MKVILLAIN Well Reason 5 have other sound packs that you can download if you purchased it that are WAYYYY better than the stock. Also try Native Instruments softwares and Komplete. Those sounds will last you forever!

  • Great video but I suggest to brighten up your studio room, so the viewers can get a glimps all your stuff. Dope Equipment! But need some light in there!.

  • @MaddskillzUSA002 Thanks bro yeah the video cam was not the best and i did not know the lighting was that low till it was recorded

  • sick setup. ive been trying to figure out how to have the drum sounds from my mpc play through my daw program rather than the program just recieving midi notes. any help appriciated. thanks,

  • which drum machine are u using in ur video

  • @koolrican

    MPC 1000

  • @koolrican MPC 1000

  • Im changing the studio around..new vids coming soon in a month

  • Com'on son a turtle neck??lol!!

  • beats should never be basic......

  • THE DARKNESS

  • damn you got some ugly ass hands and a ugly ass MPC...LOL...I am a 2500 user

  • lol nice set up but ill call u losemuoose cuz u crazy on da mpc dogg!!

  • cool set up..

  • Thanks Im still expanding my equipment and working with Logic now for the Mac.

  • question for who ever knows did he say protools first degidesign interface works midi mpc to protools and if so can you use mpc and protools 8 with original digidesign interface the old interface i think its the le

  • no. you can't use digi 001 with PT8

  • Can someone please find the light switch and turn on some lights in that room? LOL

  • If you gone use the mpc 1000 as a controller why not just get the akai midi controller with the pads on it

  • Because u can use it as both a controller and sampler.

I use mine as both. Essentially most use it as a sampler, but since they have it, they also use it as midi. It's not like they bought it for midi. I do the same with my Triton and MPC

  • what software is he using?

  • reason

  • protools, reason

  • thanks for the knowledge.

  • If you'r gona show ur equipment atleast turn the light on u feel me

  • Im doing a new one this month better

  • How do u get the mpc and the computer to recognize each other, and how do you get the sounds from reason onto your mpc? I got all that shit, just cant figure that out.

  • dude said who commented said he's from the middle east, lol u gotta lot more to worry about then pro tools

  • Hey, I have a MPC500 midid between a keyboard controller and sound module and trying to get the samples from not triggering everytime I hit the keyboard keys. I just wanna hear the sound module. Anybody know how to do this?

  • You have to set the module to an external human interface device such as the midi-keyboard the sound module has single instruments just select one and when you hit a key the corresponding pitch is triggered

  • keyboard MIDIout->MPC MIDI in

    MPC MIDIout A->Module in

MPC main screen turn DRUM to MIDI and beside that is your MIDI channel which corresponds to your patch in your module for example 1A=Drumkit 2A=Bass 3A=piano etc.

  • Ay man you should do a tutorial on how you have everything hooked up

  • can you use an mpc but get your samples from fl studio??

  • yea u can get a mpd for that, it only takes sounds you have on you computer. It doesn't have preloaded sounds. but cost much less

  • Actually you can do this with either, both the MPD and MPC have MIDI triggering capabilities. MPC stands for MIDI production center, it's not just a sampler(sound holder) and most of the older models don't come with preloaded sounds.

  • just FYI. MPC stands for Music Production Center. It's a sampler that allows MIDI input.

  • just FYI, you are wrong. MPC stands for MIDI production center. It's more than a sampler with a MIDI input(i.e. Roland SP404. An MPC is a sampler, sequencer and drum machine, it has MIDI inputs and outputs. Do you own an MPC?

  • actually neither is wrong... it was previously MIDI prod center... now it's Music Prod Center... I'm looking at my MPC2500 right now... and it say "Music..."

    pce

  • MPC actually stands for Music Production Center

  • I just wiki'd it, I guess Akai is calling the new models 'Music production centers' but originally MPC meant MIDI production center, mine even says that right on it.

  • Who cares really.. MPC is MPC I went thru 2

  • yeah but you have to convert the sounds to 16bit 44.1 and rename them with 8 characters or less, thats what I do and it sounds a lot better than using fl

  • can please make a video hooking up your mpc 1000 to your digi 001 and configure protools

  • ok ill work on it

  • whithout the monitors u won't hear anything dude

  • what r the two monitors for?

  • One is for a PC running Pro Tools 7 and the other if for a Mac and PC running Reason/ VST's etc..just so one computer wont be a memory hog..and i got both patched thru the board and Pro Tools Digi module

  • Yo with all do respect dawg you only showed your equiptment, you didnt go into any type of detail as into how to actually use pro tools and reasons and you just showed your set up, which isnt bad at all. I really want to learn this stuff son! I grew up playing 3 different types of instruments and I have an incredible ear for music. I just have to learn the technical aspect of it. If you can help me out I'll give you my email address so you can hook me up with some tips..thanks! Scripture!

  • Ok no doubt I will upload a more technical video but whats funny is most of these kats here dont care about proper set up all they want to do it get off on nigz bangin out beats...lol..i got u though

  • I feel you on that! All I want to do us know how to have a nice set up and how to use pro tools because unlike alot of the kats I'm naturally gifted with music. See I play bass guitar, guitar, I play piano by ear and I im nice with percussion too. I grew up in church and I learned alot from church musicians. But the point is than need to learn how to use this stuff so I can creat some bangerz and make some nice money on the side feel me! Peace!

  • Ya, I would like to get advice from you too. I'm from the Middle East, and have a lot of things I'd like to play with, but I don't even know where to begin with Pro tools. Thanks man

  • Im diggin ur setup..i had to try to keep up with the delay in video but nonetheless that track is wicked i had to hear it in part 2 though..is any of ur stuff on mixtapes?

  • yeah i like that track you got its FIRE but this is more of a studio setup video..But nice tracking overall! U got a lot of equipment.

  • this is just u showing your place and playin that repetetive sample, I thought dude was just hating, but its true mayne. get it right

  • uhhhhhhhh..if you watch the video all the way thru i discussed what i used as far as equipment so you can use a similar solutions. and when to track in sounds thru the MPC?

  • u showed nuthin, but your dumb azz
