  • just cant get enough talktalk mark hollis, also depeche mode music with meaning

  • one of the saddest and moving pieces of music I have heard.

  • Comment removed

  • less is more...

  • Peace for his soul, I hope he continues making music .

  • Mark is still making music. Just listen now...

    listen!

  • Mágico!!!!!

  • I would want to see Mark enlisted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame..... but I am sure that he wouldn't!

  • Paddy Mcloon, Mark Hollis, David Sylvan are the worlds most talented writers/singers of this century~

  • mark.

God bless you where you are.

  • Thanks for uploading this.

This is my first listen to the Hollis work...

Amazing, as I knew it would be!

What a class act, this Mark Hollis.

  • sublime, no words,

    thanks for this video!

  • Anyone know what Mark Hollis is doing these days?

  • Loved the song, and the great video. Many thanks. Yes Mark is a legend and genius, and like many others I'd love to see him making music again. But it's not going to happen. By the time he wrote this he was so much into the idea of the space between notes (and yes I know how up myself that sounds!!) that complete silence was the only way to go. Listen to Piano on Missing Pieces and you'll see what I mean.

  • Great music. Nothing else.

  • Thank you so much ghostsonatasong for posting this beautiful song. Please Mark....come back. What happened ?...Your creative genuis is certainly missed by so many people and it's those of us who support you that need you to understand just how much your missed!

  • really good , mark is sooo fantanstic, i cant belived! thank for he video!

  • One day, I'm going to take a boat out from Blakeney Point in Norfolk and sit and listen to this on my headphones as the boat drifts on the waves. The best things in life are definitely free.

  • Mark, return, please

  • nothing as good as talk talk mark hollis has come out,and never will,in my opion anyway, bloody amazing

  • who is the picture´s people?so great song...

  • Thank you, one of my favorite songs from Hollis, thanks, a lot

  • you are very welcome.

    i thank you for watching.

  • I didn't know about his career after talk talk till now, thxs for posting, this is really good music

  • unfortunately there is only one release by Mark Hollis. there has been no word on anything new from him. i think he's brilliant.

  • thanks for uploading this from an amazing album. Mark is a legend and a genius in music.. funny thing is, apparently he is quite arrogant - especially in the interviews I've seen him in. Think he was also a big influence on the current Shoegaze scene with artists like Tears Run Rings, July Skies, Steve Adey, Helios, Northerner - to name but a few. Please check them out if you haven't already !!!

  • thanks for the comments and the music suggestions.

  • Brilliant and beautiful ! xox

  • a great big thank you.

  • Talk Talk/ Mark Hollis.. Your music and lyrics nove my spirit! As always...

    Just BRILLIANT!!!

  • All is poetry here.

    Video, song and people.

    Thanks, dear friend

    Cri

  • thank you so much for watching this, my friend.

  • I recently I have been without a job for almost 6 months and as I had found a new one I celebrated with a big buying.

    Laughing Stock

    Spirit of Eden

    Mark Hollis

    Why? I don't know.

As David Sylvian said there is always sunshine

    Above the grey sky.

  • i wish you much success my friend, thank you for sharing.

  • No mistake (?!) what do you mean :)

I like the effects with this soulful music...

around 4:00 especially and then 4:45 - slow erasure visuals 5*

  • you are very kind, thank you.

  • Makes me want to cry..I wish Mark could make more music....he is tremendous, brilliant !!

  • talk talk were brilliant and now this is the 1st i've heard this, and i agree with motobikelad...genius

  • A sad loss knowing Mark no longer wants to be part of the commercial recording industry. Understandable, considering how vacuous it is now. If only he would continue and release work via his own web site. I would support him as I'm sure everyone who's made comments would as well. We need more Artists like him!

  • Like this so very much.......maybe we will here some news from Mark one day?

  • There they are - together again

the dead with the failed marriages -

    between the folds of music

you can almost hear them sigh...

  • these comments you leave are poetic. i am reinforced by you.

  • IT is your videos that leave us reinforced. I am indebted to you my friend.

  • guys thank you both. cheers!

  • friend never heard music so particular

  • Genius

  • Took me back to a place called Sunswept boulevard in Los Angeles. marks music has been an inspiration to myself and a few close friends. One died last year and talk Talk was the music played at his wake. Wake of course turned into a disco in a Celtic supporters club in Irvine Scotland. Me being a rangers man just went with the flow. Thanks Mark for everything.

  • class comment...if only mark read it and a million tim and gers fans eh......bless u bud.

  • Amen to that.

  • this makes me

    cry.

    thank you.

  • very beautiful music..Very nice.

This guitar and piano takes me nice feeling..

  • thank you for your comment.i always like what you have to say.

  • Very nice! Reminds me of Sebald... Hollis and Sebald roaming the landscapes of memory.

  • a beautiful comment. thank you for taking a look at this.
