Wir, meine Freunde und ich, sind völlig geschockt und sehr traurig. Junge Menschen wollten feiern und eine unvergessliche Party feiern. Schecklich, ihr Leben fing gerade erst an! Wie kann so etwas unverantwortliches passieren und Veranstalter und Stadtverwaltung schieben sich gegenseitig die Schuld zu. Unglaublich!

other references. I am however, deeply saddened at the unnecessary loss of lives.
We have had many senseless deaths at concerts and nightclubs. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of those that have lost loved ones and have injured loved ones.

@JarekRekinsky I agree: bitterly sad seems to me a reasonable expression, deeply describing one`s feeling. Shocked are probably people, who were involved in this tragedy. But I don`t know if my English is sufficient.
