best video lesson ever, thanks,,this solo was always a mystery to me,, you made it easy to understand,,your a good teacher.. and i love jimmi hendrix music,, it's not that easy to re-create. wave on .
The only difficult thing ( in the middle of the solo part) you are not able to do near the original at all. Here you are teaching others something that is worthless. The rest is ok. Hendrix was a wonderful guitarplayer.
On all these posts people are pretty much playing it the same way except that if you try and play along to the hendrix version you will be in the wrong key. His guitar is tuned half a step lower so you have to move everything down a fret.
I'm shocked you haven't gotten more comments on this, as it is really quite excellent. Gave me lots of insight into one of my all time favorite Hendrix songs - thanks!
Good job. Its hard to play with a pick once you're accustomed to using your finger but it really makes a difference. Dont take my word for it though, Mark Knoffler says a pick is the greatest amplifier in the word, he kicks himself for not using one.
Really nice sounding, I was wondering if you could post a video with step by step instructions, because I couldnt learn how to do it from watching slow or fast version, thanks, and nice playing.
Excellent!
