That may have been true in 2004, but now a days most localization companies seem to know what they're doing. Also, take into account that you cant really tell if voice work in Japanese (or any language you arent well versed in) is good or bad. Thats not to say that all dubs are fantastic, I mean, look at this one for example. Id say that maybe 35% of English dubs turn out badly today.

people call it a fandub, because from what I have seen of it, the quality (both of the recording, and of choices and level of acting) makes it seem a lot like a mediocre fandub. Though, it is still better than most south east asain english dubs.

There are parts you sang different than the subtitles that i dont like as much...but i'll deal, i guess. like the 'Crap I broke a nail, I'll fix it with glue' or even the 'Swans kicking their legs hard out of line', i think thats how that went. but overall, a good attempt and the only official verson of the english song, so it works for me. good job :)

I thought this was good and I really liked it but if you think about it Mio is not a really energetic person, the way you had sung it was quite energetic and a lot of shouting. Considering Mio, her character is not that audacious and more calm. I'd say you did an excellent job of singing the song and making it your own version but not the best job in capturing Mio's essence i singing it.
