The camera is clear and you can upload straight to facebook and myspace. My sister has an iPhone as do a # of my coworkers. They seem to have random glitches, but the apps are cool! It's all about preference really. I had a Curve and if you still have a curve and are a blackberry user get the Bold!

I did hear a rumor that Apple may possibly be putting out a new phone in June or July sometime this summer, not just OS 3.0 but a 3rd generation of the iPhone so if you can hold out I would definately wait. I actually switched from my iPhone 3G to a Blackberry Bold getting annoyed at it for not having MMS and a video recorder. As much as I was pissed off I had to return the BB and get back my iPhone because I was just too used to it. However, the 3 days I had the Blackberry Bold were great, I loved the device I just loved the iPhone a bit more :)

It's such as beautiful phone, the screen is very sharp looking as this guy said, I love the email, instant messaging, document editing and the camera too. I'm upgrading from an old sony ericsson so this is a HUGE upgrade for me. This phone will last me a very long time. Best buy I've made in a while. I recommend it.
It depends on what you need on a phone. Iphone is good for: multimedia(except for the camera), internet, gaming. The Bold is good for: email, business, document editing, etc.
The Iphone can do basically everything else decently such as calendar, email, etc. The Bold has okay media capabilities and internet. The keyboard depends on whether you like hardware keys or touch screen keys. I personally find touch screen keys faster. Once again get either phone depending on what you want and need.
I have a Blackberry Curve, but I had an iPhone and what you stated is completely false. I was quicker on the iPhone's keyboard, and more accurate. The auto-correct is truly fabulous on it.
To be completely honest, the iPhone. It makes it simpler to do most anything. The eye candy is amazing, and it's got a bigger, glass screen. The materials the iPhone is made out of is higher quality, and everything is more fluent.
Pros of iPhone: Everything syncs with iTunes, prettier displays and transitions, literally tens of thousands of applications to solve your everyday problems, faster/bigger/better internet browser. And lastly the bigger screen makes it better for viewing PDF's.
Pros for Bold: Slightly higher resolution, but the screen is half the size. I will say REAL keyboard, but that's for people who like it, most iPhone users are faster with the iPhone's keyboard because of the autocorrect though. Better camera, can edit documents, but the iPhone can too with applications. Can MMS, but the iPhone can email pics if you really need.
The iPhone will solve more of your problems, no matter what any of these "business people" say.

About 13 so far, and I never once said that Blackberry was a bad choice, it's just that the OS is more limited than S60, that's just the truth, not saying that their OS is poorly executed, iPhone on the other hand is more of a toy than a serious buisness handset, it simply cannot compare with either Blackberry or Nokia E-series, If we just compare the BB and the E71, the E71 wins on it's larger application library and functionality, in the end though, it's just a matter of taste and preference.
They are NOT the two top phones right now, they might be good and highly credible choices but I'd say the Nokia E71 takes the cake, I mean, how many third-party applications are there to Blackberry OS/iPhone OS compared to S60? Thought so.. E71 is the clear winner here, even though it's not featured in this test.

hey the blackberry bold's screen is so sensitive. if you lightly push on the screen it will make funny colours on the screen. This is because the plastic screen is so close to the actual screen
probably they have fixed this issue, but maybe not, my parents both have the blackberry bold, and they don't really make funny colours, just a little mark when you push on a computer screen

those who use their phones to get work done instead of just playing games. It IS a huge thing! If you're on the go alot you wont need to bring your laptop or netbook and just bring your phone. you can edit presentations minutes before presenting right from your phone and much more. so yea, there are alot of people "who give a f**k"

I just got this phone today and as soon as I took it out of the case I nearly creamed my pants.
It's such as beautiful phone, the screen is very sharp looking as this guy said, I love the email, instant messaging, document editing and the camera too. I'm upgrading from an old sony ericsson so this is a HUGE upgrade for me. This phone will last me a very long time. Best buy I've made in a while. I recommend it.

It depends on what you need on a phone. Iphone is good for: multimedia(except for the camera), internet, gaming. The Bold is good for: email, business, document editing, etc.
The Iphone can do basically everything else decently such as calendar, email, etc. The Bold has okay media capabilities and internet. The keyboard depends on whether you like hardware keys or touch screen keys. I personally find touch screen keys faster. Once again get either phone depending on what you want and need.

I have a Blackberry Curve, but I had an iPhone and what you stated is completely false. I was quicker on the iPhone's keyboard, and more accurate. The auto-correct is truly fabulous on it.

To be completely honest, the iPhone. It makes it simpler to do most anything. The eye candy is amazing, and it's got a bigger, glass screen. The materials the iPhone is made out of is higher quality, and everything is more fluent.
Pros of iPhone: Everything syncs with iTunes, prettier displays and transitions, literally tens of thousands of applications to solve your everyday problems, faster/bigger/better internet browser. And lastly the bigger screen makes it better for viewing PDF's.

Pros for Bold: Slightly higher resolution, but the screen is half the size. I will say REAL keyboard, but that's for people who like it, most iPhone users are faster with the iPhone's keyboard because of the autocorrect though. Better camera, can edit documents, but the iPhone can too with applications. Can MMS, but the iPhone can email pics if you really need.
The iPhone will solve more of your problems, no matter what any of these "business people" say.

About 13 so far, and I never once said that Blackberry was a bad choice, it's just that the OS is more limited than S60, that's just the truth, not saying that their OS is poorly executed, iPhone on the other hand is more of a toy than a serious buisness handset, it simply cannot compare with either Blackberry or Nokia E-series, If we just compare the BB and the E71, the E71 wins on it's larger application library and functionality, in the end though, it's just a matter of taste and preference.

They are NOT the two top phones right now, they might be good and highly credible choices but I'd say the Nokia E71 takes the cake, I mean, how many third-party applications are there to Blackberry OS/iPhone OS compared to S60? Thought so.. E71 is the clear winner here, even though it's not featured in this test.

hey the blackberry bold's screen is so sensitive. if you lightly push on the screen it will make funny colours on the screen. This is because the plastic screen is so close to the actual screen
