When someone says grazie which means thank you, you respond prego which means "you are welcome." Benvenuto just means welcome. So if someone is new to a place, you could say Benvenuto! Which means welcome, like welcome to our home etc. The end. No more.

@poppyninny Yes. He first appeared in Nancy Drew Secret of the Scarlet Hand.. He worked as an intern at Beech Hill Museum before Nancy replaced him. He was described to be absentminded, odd, and obsessed with aliens and outer space. He is also mentioned in Danger by Design. Hope that helps!

There are different ways to say "you're welcome". For instance, when saying "you are welcome", you would say "sia in benvenuto". In response to saying "grazie(thanks/thank you)", you would say "prègo"(pronounced- pray-goh(and don't forget to roll the "R")).
