@longboardingau We usually use CyberLink PowerDirector because it is easy to use, but of course it isn't all that fancy, but for this video we used some crappy software that cam with the camera, Kodak Zi8.
@longboardingau If you want to get into some really complex editing that yields great results look into Sony Vegas and Adobe Premier/After Effects, they are pricey though so compare the two and see whats better for you. As far as the video camera a DSLR with 60 Fps setup with an action rig would be the best possible way of capturing video, we use a Kodak Zi8 because it small, simple, and super light, it also shoots in 60Fps at 780p or 30fps at 1080p.
