The sound effects are incredibly accurate. (Yes, silence.) I've driven a sleigh in about a foot of snow, and there is almost no sound at all. The snow muffles the hoofbeats. Horses put to a sleigh wear bells so people won't get run over .

Anyone who cares to make the effort can drive a sleigh today. Horses still exist, and sleighs can be found. As the Holocene period ends and the Ice Age returns, we may all of us drive sleighs.
